authors note: Hey all!! this is not a definite comeback for me and writing but I thought i would create the next chapter for this fanfiction and hear peoples thoughts, i am extremely sorry for the long wait but I have finally returned! This book will be finished in time, and i need to think of where I am going within this story.

Kol grinned lightly to himself as he over heard the conversation between his brother and Malone. Here was his chance to be the comforting man that he wanted to be in-front of Malone without his brother making a fool out of him.

he knocks on Malones door gently as he double checks the hallway is cleared from any original member of the family.

"come in" he heard a soft voice come from her room, it sounded like she was crying to herself. As he opened the door his guess was correct, she was indeed sobbing quietly.

"I heard about the whole Klaus getting another women pregnant" he says as he leans against the door awkwardly with his arms crossed.

"i'm not looking for you to joke around or make fun of the situation at the moment Kol, so if you could leave me be I would appreciate it" she responded in a calm manner.

"Oh no i'm very sorry if it came across that I was trying to bring humour to this horrible subject, I would never laugh at your emotional pain Malone" he says in a sweet tone as he walks towards Malone, he takes a seat next to her and attempts to pat her for comfort.

"I've never known you to be so serious Kol" she says wiping the tears from her eyes, looking at him, trying to figure out his emotions and feelings just by his stare.

"It's because I am in-love with you" Kol muttered in his head, he could never say that out loud, especially since he fears being daggered by his own brother.

"I just, it's not that good of a situation, and you seemed to be hurting the most out of all of this" He said stammering slightly.

"It hurts that i'm not going to be the woman that gives birth to his child, i'm not going to be the mother, and, him with another woman, how could he..." Malone stuttered and struggled with her words, she was slowly breaking down due to the realisation of what was happening and what was going to happen.

"She's going to have his baby, they slept together so there must be some sort of attraction there, he's going to fall for her as she has his baby" she continued to blurt out her thoughts and worries.

"Klaus does stupid things out of anger, he definitely was not attracted to her maybe he just wasn't thinking properly during the time, Malone he is in love with you and who can blame him, he will not be losing his feelings for you or gaining them for her" he explains to her, he puts his arms around Malone and hugs her as tightly as possible to calm her down.

"do not let this get to you okay, you do not need the stress, you need to relax, take a sleep or keep
yourself occupied" Kol says as he continues to embrace her.

"thankyou Kol, I think i'll rest my eyes for a while" she says removing herself from his huh and getting under the covers to take a nap.

"let me know if you need anything, hey, why don't we go out for some drinks and food at the grill later" he says just as he is about to leave the room.

"that sounds like a valid distraction, thankyou, i'll see you later" she says as she turns around and falls herself starting to doze off.

Kol smiles, turns the light off and closes the door quietly.

he turns around to see Klaus standing infront of him. He was on the verge of panicking, he wondered if Klaus maybe sussed out his feelings for Malone.

"Strange of you to do a nice gesture Kol, thankyou for being such a good brother" Klaus says smirking and patting Kols shoulder.

"she's family now, and it's normal for me to clean up your messes now and then" he says smirking right back at his brother.

Klaus let's out a "hmm" sounds, before walking away.
