Shesshomaru began walking off without Jaken. he was taking too long inside the tea shop. He was lucky Sesshomaru even let him go. But today he was feeling quite generous, and a tad happy, though he wouldn't let Jaken know that.
Alittle ways down the trail that would lead him to the den of the wolf demons he was out to slay, he heard Jaken calling to him..
"Lord Sesshomaru! Wait!" he called in his squeaky voice. "Wait!"
Sesshomaru stopped and waited, a tiny smirk on his face. Though it went away in a flash as Jaken appeared by his side.
"How was the tea?" Sesshomaru asked blankly. He looked forward and kept walking.
"Oh. It was amazing! The girl who served me wasn't too bad either!" Jaken laughed to himself.
"Hmph" Was all Sesshomaru replied.
He hid himself, from everyone, every creature that came his way. He was in a shell, one that showed no remorse.....
"Lord Sesshomaru, night approaches. Should we continue on to slay the wolf demons on Monsuno mountain?" Jaken asked, wide eyed.
"Maybe we would have been closer had we not stopped for tea." Sesshomaru said through his teeth. His good mood had long faded.
"But i-it's dark! We would have no advantage over them!" Sesshomaru looked to Jaken and it sent a chill through the little demons body. He shut up and travled behind his master. Jaken could be annoying at times, plus jaken knew there was no point in trying to reason with an irritated Sesshomaru.
Sesshomaru had travled farther down path. It had been hours since Jaken had spoken, and the deepest part of the night had come. It wasn't long before Sesshomaru could no longer hear the sound of Jakens footsteps behind him. He let out sigh and waited for the little demon to catch up.
"Thank you" he wheezed as he caught up.Of course, Sesshomaru wouldn't say anything back. He liked his acts of kindess to be as shortlived as possible.
"Jaken." he said before he continued on.
"Yes Lord Sesshomaru?"
"You know where I'm going right?"
"To slay the wolf demons." Jaken answered, unsure of what he was getting at.
"Yes. And I do not require your assistance for it. So I implore you to stay behind" Jaken stared at Sesshomaru, not knowing whether to thank him.
Without waiting for Jakens answer, Sesshomaru continued on his lonely path. Though Jaken could prove useful at times, Sesshomaru didn't mind the silence that came with traveling alone. It gave him time to think, though he rarely needed to. He had things sorted out. And as far as killing goes, it's those disgraceful wolf demons turn. To Sesshomaru, there was no rightfull terriotory other than his own. Lesser demons had no right to stake claim on what was his. Such was his reasoning for killing one of the two scouts from the Wolf Demon pack he was out to slay. He sent the other one to tell the rest of their comrades death. And when he came back saying "On behalf of the whole tribe..." the whole tribe was going to get punished. Females as well. Though he didn't enjoy their deaths as much. Unless they did something to provoke him.
In his time, he has seen beautiful women. Some humans, others demons. Mostly Fox and dog though.he can't say for sure he wouldn't hate them.
Sesshomaru stopped. He smelt something in the air. Something was following him. A demon, and it certainly wasn't Jaken...his stench was easily recognizable. Sesshomaru wasn't in the mood for games. He unsheathed his sword and pointed towards the trees where the scent was coming from.
"Show yourself of flee." He said, eyes scanning the dark. He heard movement in the upper branches and heard the fall of someone.
"Damn it!" a voice whispered as the person got up. He saw the figure move around a bit before steeping onto the path where Sesshomaru could see his stalker. Surprise spread through him as he saw the figure of a young woman approach. A fellow dog demon...
"You can put that sword down, I have no weapons." She said, raising her hands up. Sesshomaru said nothing, and continued to stare. "Hey! Did you hear me? I'm not a threat!"
"Then why were you folowing me?" He asked, lowering the sword just a bit.
"Well. I..heard you were going to slay the Wolf demons up on that mountain." She crossed her arms and stood straight.
"Why does that concern you?" He looked her over once more. She was a disgrace to dog demons. Filthy clothes, and was walking around barefoot just like his brother.
"I have my own problems with them. I thought I could help you" She started walking down the path he was traveling.
"I do not need your help, half-breed." He raised his head to her. She glared at him, it was clear she was enraged.
"Half breed?!" She screeched. "How dare you insult me so! I'll have you know that I'm no half breed. I'm a full fledged demon unlike that mangey mutt who walks around with those humans..what was his name?" she got herself off topic and began to think.
"Inuyasha..." Sesshomaru whispered.
"Yeah! Him, that's the guy!' her ears pricked up.
"You know of my brother?" He smirked.
"He's your brother? Doesn't that make you a mutt too?" she smiled.
"No!" he growled. "We came from different mothers." Annoyed, he looked to the side.
"Well. Now that we got that all sorted out, I'm Inakka!" She held out her hand for Sesshomaru to shake. He declined it and walked away. Trying to finish his task at hand.
"Hey! Come back here and tell me your name!" She shouted after him. Chasing him until she caught up with him..
She's just as annoying as Jaken....Sesshomaru thought to himself.
"You can't just skip an introduction like that! I should at least get to know your name!" She followed right behind him, mirroring his moves.
"Leave me" Sesshomaru growled underneth his breath.
"Not until i get a name" He stopped and gave her a glare. But the defensive young demon glare right back.
"Sesshomaru" he hissed. She stuck her hand out once again for him to grab.
"Inakka" she smiled. As he reluctantly grabbed it.
"Leave me now. This is something I must do on my own." He continued walking, but sighed as he heard her footsteps behind him.
"How do you planning on defeating them if you have no weapons?" He asked, trying to deturr her.
"easy. I have you" She said looking at the great demon.
