" ROH.. Magkakaroon tayo ng training outside the school for 3 days and 2 nights.. No need to worry about the fee dahil sagot na ng school yun and You're one of the lucky students who were given the privilege to join! It will be held at Camp Maka-Diyos, Mt. Makiling. We already informed your parents at pumayag na sila. But kailangan pa rin naming malaman yung desisyon mo. Pero sayang naman kung hindi ka sasama dahil nabayaran na yun ng school."
I am APHRODITE VALDEZ. People call me ROH.. and hindi ko alam kung bakit ayaw nilang buuin ang pangalan ko.. maybe because of its pronounciation? or maybe because it's too long? but... Bahala sila! basta ako.. Pangalan pa lang, sosyal na. Pangalan pa lang.. MAGANDA na!
I am a member of the school theatre and I don't have the slightest idea kung bakit ako napasama sa 3-Day camping sa isang bundok. like.. Hello? etong ganda kong toh, pang-TV tapos ipamumundok nyo lang?!? Duh!!?!? You've got to be kidding me.
"Roh! Sumama ka na! Kasama naman ako eh oooh!! sayang yung pinangbayad ng school" my friend CARREEN told me. oh my gosh.. kung yung pambayad lang yung problema, I can pay for the whole student body!! I can pay for all the participants, and of course.. I can pay for how much the school contributed for me!!! Hindi ko kailangan ng libre kase ako mismo.. Kaya ko silang ilibre lahat!!
" Uy Aphrodite Valdez.. Sige na please?? Experience din yun!! Gusto kong maranasan lahat ng yan before tayo gumraduate, and gusto ko, kasama kita.. please?? What are friends for kung iiwan mo rin ako di ba?" that left me with no choice.
CARREEN DONSOL was a friend since Childhood, and sya lang ang tanging nakatagal sa ugali ko. Hindi sya kasing-yaman namin because she came from an ordinary family. Her family doesn't own a shipping company just like us. Her family doesn't own an oil company just like us... She don't even have her own credit card nor her own elegant room. Her mom was just one of the maids at our house, and his dad was our gardener.
Well, maybe this will be my chance to show her my gratitude of sticking with me for years.. and I haven't heard a single complaint from her.. and for the record.. this will be her first ever request from me.. so maybe, I should say yes?
"Ok Fine. Kung may mangyaring masama sakin, you'll be responsible for that." with that, I saw a big smile in her face as she hugged me tightly.

*Mt. Makiling*
<Day 1>
"WAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!! Ang ganda-ganda dito Roh!! Ang lawak!! Ang daming halaman!! Ang ganda ng kapaligiran!! Ang daming taga ibang school!! wuaaaaaah!!" tuwang-tuwa na sabi sa akin ni Carreen. Tsk. Hindi na ba sya nasanay sa garden namin?? Malawak din naman yun at maraming halaman! May mga aso, pusa, ibon at kahit tigre! at may fish pond pa nga dun!! tsk.
Maya-maya pa ay tinawag na kami ng coordinator ng training for the meet up.
Pumasok kami sa isang malaki at mukang lumang bahay. isang spacial house lang ito na hinati sa three halls. Yung isang part, dun nakalagay ang mga double deck na hihigaan ng girls, and on the opposite side, yun naman ang para sa boys. and sa gitna ng dalawang 'rooms' ay isang multi-purpose hall. meron white screen for the projector sa unahan. and may tables sa gilid na parang pabg-picnik. inuusog siguro yun pag time na para kumain.
