Said by the boy. He observed his surroundings as e tries to figure out where i the good loving world he is.
???: "Welp... It's just white here... So I'm guessing I am dead." He said defeatedly.
Well, he did remember saving a kid from being hit by a ramping truck, though I guess it took a bit of time before he realized himself that he has died from it.
???: "You certainly are, am afraid so. Still, I saw what you did ad I say that you are quite the... Hero." a voice said
He turned his head around just to see a black haired woman sitting in a comfortable kotatsu while drinking some hot tea. He stared warily as he didn't even notice the woman despite doing a whole 360 earlier.
???: "Don't be afraid, young man, I am but a mere observer that has taken quite a liking to you, that's all~. Now, why don't you sit down and have a tea with me?" She said.
She then slowly waved her had and another cup of tea appeared. He was afraid to come near, but it's not like he has other options, so he complied.
He sat down across the woman. The woman slowly sips her tea as her eyes didn't eve show a slight chance of opening.
???: "Well. Why don't you introduce yourself?"
The boy hesitated.
???: "Isn't it proper manners to introduce yourself first before asking somebody else?" he said giving off a bitter smile.
Persephone: " Ah, you're right, forgive me for it... My name is Persephone. Though other details are not relevant as of yet." She said smilingly.
Tsukino: "Then... I'm Tsukino Houou.. Can I ask you where we are right now?" He asked.
Persephone: "Well, You are currently in the middle of life, death, and afterlife. RIght there in the middle. I snatched your soul for a bit to have a little chat~ I mean, It's quite rare for someone like yo to pique a Goddess' interest."
Tsukino: "Wait... did you just said..."
Persephone: "Precisely... I'll be straight to the point, Tsukino. How would you like to be reincarnated?" She bluntly said as she finishes her Tea.
Tsukino's eyes widen in surprise.
Tsukino: 'Reincarnation?! This is really happening? This is a lot to take in, after all, I just died earlier!' He ran his mind.
Persephone: "What's with the messy thoughts? It's just your typical reincarnation to another world type thing you know? You should be accustomed to it by now as you are quite a fan of those Isekai stories right?"
Tsukino: "W-Well, yeah! I guess so... But it's just... I just died... How come I don't feel anything from it? Nothing..."
Persephone: "Well, give a little of that credits to me, after all, if I hadn't messed with your soul a bit... You would be screeching, screaming, and loathing yourself right now... That's what most of you do when your soul gains their conscience back." She said while giving a smirk.
Tsukino was surprised... He was about to do that? I guess that's why he wouldn't react to his death because the Goddess messed with his perception.
Persephone: "Well? Want to reincarnate or not?"
Tsukino: "W-Wait!"
'Should I take it? It's a bit fast, as if she is trying to pressure me... But It's not like I'll lose anything right? What should I do, what should I do?'
Persephone frowns a bit because she read Tsukino's mess mind. She sighed a bit before removing everything in the vicinity and changing it to an office-like layout. She then proceeds to bring out 4 papers in front of Tsukino.
