Recap:

I glared at him one more time and made my way to a vacant seat at the back rather childishly. I muttered some cursing words that sounded all gibberish. I still had my arms crossed. I could feel the other girls' glares behind my head. I didn't mind them since I didn't really care what they thought of me.

I sat down and looked at him when I saw a self satisfied smirk plastered on his face.

"Very good, Miss Evans. Now, let's resume to our introduction before we were interrupted." He said and he already lost me there. I couldn't stop staring at his lips when it moved. It's as if I'm hypnotized by it.

And in that moment, I knew that it was going to be one hell of a year.

I groaned internally. And this was just the first day. What more in a year?, I thought. Oh boy. I'm in for a rocky road.

Chapter 2

I was doodling on a scratch paper when I was tapped on my shoulder.  I heard a threatening growl. Or was it just my imagination playing tricks on me?

I looked behind me and asked, “What?”

I could hear chuckles and giggles from all over the classroom. The guy behind me smirked and just pointed in front. I followed the direction he was pointing and saw Mr. Flynn scowling at me.

What the fuck did I do now?

I then realized that he wasn’t looking at me. Rather he was looking at the hand on my shoulder. I shrugged the hand off of me and looked in front again.

I raised my eyebrows curiously. Mr. Flynn shook his head and said, “I said can you please tell us something about you?”

I smirked and stood up. All the heads are turned in my direction. I said,” Well, I’m single.” The guys whistled and howled.  I shook my head with a smile and continued. “I like hamburgers and steaks.” The cheerleaders looked at me disgustedly while the boys wolf whistled. “I love swimming.” That doesn’t shock them all, but I still got whistles from the guys. I heard one of them shout, “Damn! Sarah plus bikini is H-E-A-V-E-N!” And all the boys howled in laughter and agreement.

I rolled my eyes. Boys will be boys. Guys will be guys. I sat down and quickly doodled again. But not too quickly since I saw the glare of my teacher. His eyes were ominously black. His hands are clenched into a fist by his side. No one seemed to notice it though. The guys were daydreaming about me swimming while some of the girls just glared at me. The rest could care less and just stared at me.

Mr. Flynn cleared his throat. The heads snapped back to his direction. “Very well then. Thank you, Miss Evans. Mr. Rodriguez, care to give your introduction?”

The remaining minutes were left for the rest of the students to introduce themselves. I was just doodling me as a stickman punching another stickman. I really like boxing. It comes in handy at times. Especially when you need to punch someone straight on the face.  Yes, I know. Punching is what every seventeen year old girls would love to do! I hope you could hear my exaggerated sarcasm dripping voice.

The bell rang and I closed my notebook and shoved it in my bag. A small piece of paper fell from my notebook. And then another. I picked one and saw it was my detention slip. Damn! How could I forget about that. I scowled at the paper.

I picked the other one and realized it was a note. It says,

“Meet me at lunch? - A.R.”

I stared at the paper confusedly. Who was A.R.? I was going through the candidates of who A.R. was when the paper was taken away from me. I looked at the one who took it and realized I was the only one left in class.
