I stood in shock looking at Niki. Earlier, I tried calling his number but he didn't pick up but now he is right here standing in front of me. Is it the gravitational law or something?

"What are you doing here?" I asked, frowning at him. "I.....I came here..." He hesitated as he tried to hide something behind him. "What is that?" I asked, glancing at the file behind him. "It's....my moms, she asked me to pick up her medical examination results." Niki said. I sighed in relief as I smiled at him.

"Is that so? Well.....I am here for a kind off similar reason. I tried calling you but you didn't pick up." I said in a fake sad tone. He quickly started searching through his pockets.

"I....I am so sorry! I must have forgotten my phone at home...I remember throwing it on the ground as I rushed here." Niki said. "Its okay really!" I said as I felt guilty. "I am sorry...." He apologized again.

"Hey Niki...." I called his name and he glanced at me waiting for me to talk. "How about we have breakfast together. You didn't eat yet, right?" I asked. "Uh...yeah..." He replied. "Then wait for me here and I will be back really quickly, okay?" I said and he nodded his head.

I patted his shoulder and then ran to the hospital.

Something inside of me wanted to stay by his side.....

I ran through the stairs, my mind in a rush. I wanted to get this done so I won't keep Niki waiting.

I gasped out for air as I stopped at the reception office. The lady with crimson hair and green eyes smiled at me.

"Did Hyunjin make you deliver the files again, Y/N?" She asked in a soft tone. Istg if she wasn't taken and Jake didn't exist I would date her.

"Tell your boyfriend to stop being so damn lazy, Julieta." I said furiously as I handed her the files and she giggled. Just like her name indicates, she was the one who took care of me and Hyunjin last year after our parents passed away and she is the only one who can help Hyunjin when he is struggling.

She is also a good friend of mine and more like a real big sister.

"I am sorry to break your hopes, but Y/N you need to hand the file to the doctor himself." Julieta said. "Oh man! Can't you do it??" I asked with pleading eyes. "I would gladly do it but you know the rules. A family member needs to sign the files with the doctor, not a mere part-timer like me...." She sighed.

"Julieta you are more than a 'mere' person! You are like a family to me! And Hyunjin's everything. Don't be upset, I will go and sign the papers." I said. "Thank you." She smiled at me like an angel and I waved at her.

"Doctor Jung...." I mumbled as I searched for his office. He had been the family doctor, since I was a kid.

I stopped as I saw the door and knocked lightly on it. The doctor replied with a 'Come in' and I opened the door. I felt so nervous since this was my first time here since my physical therapy.....

"Y/N!" The doctor said in a happy tone as I awkwardly walked inside. He pulled a chair and I thanked him as I sat down. Oh god.

"It have been a while, how is your leg now?" The doctor asked. "Oh! It's all fine as if nothing had happened to it!" I said and he smiled. "I guess...Hyunjin sent you here?" He asked playfully and a small smile was my answer.
