War, love and mating

Prologue

The kingdoms of Etesan and Arewon had always been the worst of enemies. The worst battles in the history of their universe were fought between these two countries and the wars kind of mixed together to one big mess as the treaties and peace never lasted.

In a desperate attempt to make peace king Des of Etesan and king Troy of Arewon decided to mate of the first sons they would sire so that the unified land would be strong with two kings on the throne.

The first child Des got with his queen was a girl, named Gemma and she was taken care of with gentle hands. The year after the birth of princess Gemma, Troy and his lovely wife got a son as their first child and true heir. He was seen as a symbol of strenght in their land as the young boy early showed signs of being an alpha, which meant that he would be a strong leader and his people celebrated the signs. Being a beta wouldn’t have been terrible either, but no one would dare to ever question an alpha king.

But it was about two years(really a bit less) after the birth of prince Louis in Arewon that Etesan rejoiced at the news of a baby boy being born by queen Anne. The little prince was given the name Harry and where the prince of Arewon was a michivieous child ever since he opened his eyes for the first time, Harry was a gentle soul who would never even dream of hurting anyone, be it intentional or not.

But as interesting as this might be, it is not the reason we’re here. Yes, two sons being born and being forced to mate make quite a story already, but not as interesting as dear John Mundos would want it to be.

 

John did not like the peace that was in the lands. He had grown up watching the alphas and male betas of his family fight of the Arewon armies from the border of Etesan, and he was determined that it would to stay that way. Of course he had a plan to eventually claim the both countries as his own in the future as they were both wrecked with chaos, but that plan moved way slower than the one about the war. He had managed to work his way up to be king Des’s right hand through the years and as he got the news about the queen giving birth to a son he had been enraged. Now the deal would be sealed in the future by the mating of the two princes. He had been absolutely furios for days until he came up with a plan. It was a plan that would end with little Harry either really far away or preferably dead.

He hired men that would follow his orders and go against the king for the gold he would supply them with for taking the prince as far away as possible.

The men took the young heir as he slept and he was bound, blindfolded and gagged as they put him on a horse to start their journey.

After a few days on horseback they reached one of the woods in the depths of Arewon where they eventually dropped off the young prince. Harry had been unconcious on and off for days and when he wasn’t he kicked and screamed. His body was tired and he hurt everywhere. He screamed through his gag for what may have been hours(he had a bit of a hard time telling time without seeing anything) before he heard horsehooves getting closer. He whimpered as he thought it was those horrible men coming back, but as he heard gentle voices and soft hands lifting him up and freeing him from his binds he saw that his rescuers happened to be a noble couple that had been out with their horses when they found him. They brought the younge prince home, unaware of who he was, and Harry had only told them his name, not fully knowing or understanding what his title was as he was still very young.

The Horan family raised Harry as one of their own children and the prince was none the wiser, by the time he was 7 and enrolled school like the other children he had no other memories than when he had been with the Horan family, only a tune that he did not remember hearing in forever.

So yeah, I thought I'd explain to you a bit about how the alpha/beta/omega dynamics work in this fic so you're not confused in the future.

There are of course Alphas, betas and omegas of every gender.
Alphas are physically stronger than the others and are viewed as better by society. Alphas often get higher positions since they have a strong drive to be best. Girl alphas are occassionally bullied though for "being manly", but that is often until they beat up the ones talking shit. Alpha boys are respected and idolized. Female alphas do have a penis just like the boys and both knot. They go into rut once every three months.

Betas are the only ones not affected by pheromones that alphas and omegas always give out. They are like ordinary humans as we know them. They usually have positions like doctors and alike since they don't go crazy every three months and are not affected by pheromones.

Omegas are rare, most often females although at times a boy presents as omega. Male omegas are very sought after as their scent often is more alluring than the females'. Male omegas are born with a womb connected to their rectum so they are able to get pregnant. When someone presents as an omega they are often pulled out of school and are expected to find a mate as soon as possible. A working omega is very frowned upon as apparently being in heat one every three months is so much worse than being in rut just as often. Yes, the heat can get more dangerous and an unmated omega who has aged up a bit can actually die if not claimed.

Usually you present about your sixteenth birthday and the rest of your life is judged by that moment.

If you want more answers you can just ask, like history things and stuff, it will probably be featured later, but it doesn't hurt to ask, eh ;)
