~Chapter 2~

"Tomorrow is the day, I'm going to ask Devon. What do I say? What do I wear? What if he already has a date? What if he doesn't have a date and just doesn't like me? How will I ask him? What if he says yes? What will i do of he does? Why am I so concerned? Don't worry Emily" I thought to myself

I've always worried about the dumbest things. I just have to relax. I looked on tumblr for ideas to ask him. there were a lot of cute ones. but the one I liked the best was one which Mc Donald's chicken nuggets. on the inside it would say I would be a happy nugget if you went to Sadie's with me. How would I give it to him? I hope he knows who I am. I mean he is in my math and science class. every noun and then he I catch him looking at me with is dreamy blue eyes.

*Next day*
This morning I drove to mc Donald's and brought a sharpie. I went through the drive through and got the nuggets. I wrote everything I was supposed to and closed the box.

The bell just rang to get to class and I had math and science in the morning, and so did Devon. I walked up to his desk and placed the nuggets on his desk. He looked at me with his bright blue eyes.

"Open it." I said quietly

"Okay!" He replied.

He opened the box and grinned.

"I thought you would never ask. Yes!" he said whilst smiling.

Did he really like me? Is he doing this just to make me happy? He stood up and hugged me. He wrapped his arms around me with his hoodie wrapped around my body like a warm blanket.

Heather, the most popular rolled her eyes. she was probably going to ask him.

"And one more thing." Devon said."Will you go out with me?"

"I thought you would never ask" I said repeating what Devon said to my question.
