Denver. Of all the places I want to be right now Denver is not one of them. Looking out the plane window I can see the city coming into view only just as light snow is starting to fall. Great.
Immediately I want to be back in Australia enjoying the summer, at the beach with my friends and enjoying the hot sun, not this frozen crap. The turbulance shakes the plane as we fly down the runway coming to a stop. I pull on my jacket and pick up my bag leaving my earphones in to walk off the plane.
My mum and dad had already arrived earlier in the year while I had stayed for the rest of January with my friends so the house would be all set up and decorated, except for my room. Since i'm the only child I got to chose my room and I chose the back room that has an upper floor for my bed, It overhangs 3/4 quarters of the room and will look amazing, it's one thing to look forward to in Denver. Our house is a refurbished old house with lots of the exisiting brick and timber beams still in there. I want to become an interior designer when I finish school so I had already planned my room down to the finest details, it was all in a folder in my bag.
Standing up I swing my bag onto my shoulder and join the line of people filing off the plane. No. 1 Party Anthem played through my ears. Finally getting off I went through security and all that jazz, got my bags and hailed a cab.
