"There he goes again." I thought as I saw Natsu fighting with Gray for the umpteenth time today.
It was the usual atmosphere in the Fairy Tail guild; A friendly, happy and rumbunctious one. Usually predicted to be a normal day in the guild.
Since I'm a childhood friend of his, I was supposed to be stopping him from having fights with the Ice mage, but then again, who can ever stop him?
I sighed, trying to settle down my feelings for the idiotic Fire Dragon Slayer. It had always been like this for me, stopping myself from getting hopeful of him returning it.
Lucy and Levy left for the library earlier and Erza is currently on an S-rank mission so I'm all alone on the table. I decided to sleep and wake up for who knows how long.
I was about to lay my head down on my crossed arms atop the table when Lucy and Levy appeared on each side of me. "Any good books, Levy?" I asked, stifling a yawn from escpaing my lips.
She was about to reply when......"DUCK!!" Lucy shouted, ducking down the table. I yelped and ducked down the table along with Levy as a barrel, almost scraping the table, flew over us.
In anger, I got out of the table and glared at the suspect, a sheepishly grinning pink-haired idiot. "Sorry about that ______!" He exclaimed as he ran over to me, still glaring holes at him.
Before I could even scold him or yell at him, Lucy immediately appeared beside Natsu with a mischievous glint in her brown orbs. "Have you told her yet?" She asked, giggling and hiding a smirk.
Then Levy decided it was a good idea to join her and she nudged his side. "Just tell her already, Natsu!"
The girls ran off, leaving a flustered Natsu behind them. My glare lingered on the two before looking at Natsu, my glare softening a bit.
"Tell me what?" I asked, tapping my foot impatiently in the process. Not to be dense but, I don't want my hopes to get crushed if it was about something else or someone else.
He groaned then grabbed my wrist and dragged me out of the guild and in front of the huge tree in the town of Magnolia.
"Look ______, I'm gonna tell you straight on out because...." He trailed off and- Is it me or is he blushing? "Because what?" I pressed on, anticipating the reason.
Suddenly, he grabbed my shoulders and.....This is too embarassing and too good to be true.
Natsu Dragneel, my childhood friend and long-time crush, is kissing me! My eyes widened and a blush erupted on my cheeks. My eyes fluttered close and I kissed him back, enjoying the bliss of it all.
I released the kiss and hid my face in his chest, my (h/c) hair covering my cherry red face. Natsu chuckled and held me tight in a hug.
"I love you, ______."
"I love you too...."
