I turned over on my bed and slammed my hand down on my alarm clock. 

Today was the day I left Scunthorpe for London.  

Perfect, if you hate the school you're at, which I don't. 

On the bright side, at least I know one person, my best friend, Grace Wilson. 

I've met a couple of her friends there, over video chat. And I've heard about people from time to time. But I could be sharing a room in this boarding school with some stranger! 

I sighed and got up from my bed. I'd already packed all my things last night so all I had to do was get breakfast and then I'd be off.  

"Hey hun" My mum smiled as I walked down the stairs and into the kitchen. "Hey mum" I sighed putting some toast in the toaster and walked over to my dogs basket so I could play with him. He sniffed my face for a good 5 minuets before licking my nose and laying on his back for me to rub his stomach. Right at that moment my toast popped up and I pulled it out to butter it. "Oh, grab a plate" My mum nagged but I'd finished before I could. 

Right then my sister Hannah walked in. 

I've been pretty much been ignoring everyone, seen as how they took it upon themselves to send me to boarding school. 

So yeah, I could be a bit of a reble, but I don't need to be sent to boarding to be straightened out! All I did was spray paint the guys car...

I sighed again grabbing my IPod and plugging in my ear phones. I was sick to death of my mothers ranting. 'If you knew what was best for you, you'd understand why we're sending you away'. Yeah yeah yeah. If you knew your daughter well enough, you'd know that teacher deserved it.

I got out off the bus with about 3 suitcases by my side and was embraced by Grace's arms.  I'd missed her so much, it's actually unbelieveable. She'd been away for so long. I don't even know why she was sent away! Grace is an angel, possibly it was the people around her that were making her grades drop? Hey! It's rude to point!

"Ahhhhhh, I missed you soooooooo much" She squealed

"I missed you toooooo" I squeeked. 

"I just found out the best news!" She shouted, the grin on her face expanding (if possible)

"What?" I grinned.

"You're rooming with me!" She screeched. 

Well I guess scared of that stranger. Or maybe the other way round. *smirk face*

Soon I noticed I was surrounded by 5 other girls. My other bestfriends that magically disapeared too. Good'ol Scunthorpe eh? Driving people away since1945! I swear it's been voted 'the worst town ever' like a gazillion times... 

Originally, me and the girls were best friends, nothing ever stopped us. We constantly sat together at lunch, were in every lesson together, and had a sleepover pretty much every weekend. 

Molly was the first to move away. 

She moved to Kent, and being without us made her grades drop, so she was sent away to boarding school.

Maggie's house was caught on fire, and so they moved away to Liverpool, but Maggie was the same, she became a rebel like me, and was sent to boarding school with Molly.

Next went Amy, nobody knows what happened with her, she just went I guess. They'd tried out so many different schools, she just didn't fit in, and she just left to boarding school.

Lois left because she wanted to make music, and this was the only school they could find for her. And Lilly, well, Long Story Short, she wasn't very happy where she was.

Soon I was embraced by all of them making me giggle. "Ohmigod! Why didn't lose the plot sooner?! Three years it's been! Whyyy?!" MAggie laughed.

"I know, I wish I had, it's been aweful without you guys" I replied. 

It was great just to be with them, but to be living with them again? Life couldn't get any better right now...

"Come on Cat, sooner you unpack, the sooner we can show you around" Grace said linking her arm with mine.

After about an hour of unpacking, we finally got the chance to walk around.  

"Over there, is the stage, where they do all the shows" Molly pointed out.

"And where they do karaoke on Friday nights" Lilly added

"Omg! Cat we should totes go there!" Grace gasped

"Totes?" I laughed "What sort of a word is that? It sounds like Toast!"

"Shut up" Grace huffed. "Look, you have to sing there! Lois has sang there so many times! You're turn now. You're amazing!"

"Phahahahahahahaha, I'm amazing as you at cleaning Grace!" 

"Cat! Come on I'll love you forever"

"I thought you already did" I sniffed.

"Cat just go in there" Maggie sighed giving me a push.

"Nope, no way, not going in" I insisted

"Pleeeeaaassee" They all begged 

Somehow, I find myself in the stage place.

I give in too easily.

As we walked futher into the room, more and more people stared at me. Do I have something on my face?

"Why's everyone staring at me?" I whispered.

"You're new, don't worry about it" Maggie smiled.

A wave of blonde hair flashed before my eyes. There was a very tall blonde girl stood infront of us. "Hi, I'm Britney" She beamed.

I turned round to look at the girls. They shook there heads at me, indicating she was a bad idea. 

"HI?" I replied smiling politely.

She grabbed my arm swiftly, constantly smiling. She reminded me of a barbie doll, fake and full of herself.

"Let me show you around" She grinned.

"Uh, no!" I replied "I'd like to stay here thanks."

"Suit yourself" She said, looking at me rather disgusted.

I just laughed. "Who does she think she is?!"

"She thinks she's something, I suggest you stay away from her" Amy warned.

"No problem there" I replied.

"Anyway, we're here to have fun, lets go!"
