You and Asta watched Yuno humiliate his opponent in under a minute. I knew this kid was the real deal!! Yeah, peasant boy, fuck 'em up!!
"No way!" The crowd was in shock; they couldn't believe that three peasants had ate and left no crumbs in their matches today. What was this world coming to?!
"And that marks the end of the examination. Now... Each examinee will come forward when their number is called out. The squad captains will raise their hand if they wish to have you join their team. It is up to the examinee to accept the offer or not. And if more than one captain raises their hand, it is up to the examinee to choose. However, as mentioned before, if there are no takers... the examinee will not be able to join the Magic Knights." Captain Vangeance explained.
You sighed longingly. Wouldn't that be a dream?Alas, I'm too much of a catch for them to pass up... unless they didn't like what I could do. That's very true, seeing as there isn't a set skill requirement for the Magic Knights. It's all subjective and biased. Fitting.

"Number 68." You perked up. You were next... you were more nervous than you anticipated, but it was largely due to the constant stare you felt from Yuno. What was that kid's problem, anyway?
"Number 69." Captain Vangeance announced. When you walked up to stand before the captains, you were honestly surprised that all but one raised their hands. Coward. And I knew I was good, but I didn't think I'd actually get recognized. The crowd gasped in awe at your results. They couldn't believe this!!

"Huh?!"
"I wasn't lying when I said I wanted to join the Magic Knights to become a doctor, so I'd need to join the squad with the ability to reach the largest amount of people." You said, then kneeled down.
"It'd be an absolute honor to serve the people of the Clover Kingdom as a member of the Golden Dawn. Thank you all for your consideration, I'm truly grateful."
Finral slumped. Aw, man! There go all of my hopes and dreams!!
