I wake up, groaning as the sun hits my eyes.
"Mornings suck," I mumble rolling out of bed hitting the ground with a thud.
"Why do I always do that?!?" I groan loudly.
Picking myself up from the ground I brush off some invisible dust walking toward my closet.
Searching through my closet I come across a skater skirt, pairing it with a white crop top that says, 'I woke up like this.' I look at myself in the mirror and sigh slowly pulling a brush through it. Heating up the curling wand as I apply some mascara and eye liner.
I start curling my hair, only taking a half an hour until I am fully ready for school. Grabbing my backpack as I pull on my converses I rush out the door yelling goodbye to an empty house.
Driving to school, pulling on my sunglasses as i drive the five minutes to the school.
Hopping out I see my best friend that so rudely ditched me the other day.
"Jay!" I yell running to him as his arms open wide. I jump into his arms as he twirls me around.
"Riles!" He laughs.
"I missed you!" I smile as he sets me down on the ground.
"I missed you too," he smiles leaning down to kiss my cheek.
I blush lightly as I turn my attention to a pissed off Taylor.
"See ya later Jay!" I yell running to catch up to taylor.
"Taylor!" I yell after him but he doesn't turn.
"Taylor!" I call again grabbing his arm as he turns around to face me but his gaze is anywhere but my face.
"Do you want to come over later?" I ask.
"No,"
"What why? We could work on our scene" I ask confused.
"I have plans with a girl tonight," he shrugs.
"Ohh a date?" I tease pushing hi lightly.
"No just a hook up," he states bluntly.
"Ew, that's disgusting." I snap turning away.
I walk to my locker grabbing my books, I give Taylor another disgusted glare as I walk to class.
How could he do that, play with a girls head and feelings like that.
I feel something push my shoulder hard making my books drop to the ground.
I turn around to see the schools most popular girl smirking at me.
"What do you want?" I snap.
"For you to stay away from Taylor!" She sneered.
"We are partners for the rest of the year it isn't possible!" I yell back at her.
"Make it possible you little slut"
"Or else what?"
"I'll make your life hell, what are you going to do change him? He doesn't go for ugly, fat girls like you" she threatens poking my shoulder with her fake nails.
I felt the tears prick my eyes, I am not the kind of girl who takes insults lightly. I'm so insecure.
I gather my books rushing to class, math class passes in a flash but not before I'm scolded many times from the teacher for not paying attention. The next class is English, the class I am dreading going to, I know most girls wouldn't give a crap what she said and still talk to him but this popular girl used of be my best friend and this threat hits close to home. She knows all my secrets that I wouldn't want her to spill.
I walk into English, sitting at my desk when the swooning girls walk in right before Taylor. My heart beat races as he takes his seat next to me.
"Hey kitty," he says poking my shoulder in the same place as Amanda.
I ignore him as I watch the door.
"Kitty!" He whines.
I still ignore him.
"What did I do? Is it because of the hook up tonight. I won't just stop because you want me to."
"That's not it, I don't care if you whore around. Please just leave me alone." I plead not looking at him.
"I don't think I can do that, I'll be over later."
"Please Taylor don't."
She knows something about me, that if it gets out my life will be ruined.
"Why? Riley why do I need to leave you alone?" He asks.
"Because, it's for the better."
"Whatever Riley I will figure out why!" He says looking extremely pissed off.
I roll my eyes as I listen to the teacher talk. I then realize something, he called me
Riley. He's always just called me kitty. That's weird.
