Denise McLaren's death was a very impactful event in the history of Luna Nova, as she had never before had a teacher to replace her, none that came after had the combination of charisma and motivation of the redhead, it was the combination that helped all the students to do well in the subject of complex magic, Holbrooke also lost some of the enthusiasm to hire someone who was as good as the old teacher, so much so that the subject became what it used to be, something boring and tortuous to pass. This went on for years, until the girls graduated.

The whereabouts of Margaret were even more mysterious, no one even knew where she was, since Ford didn't even go to the family estate or the Cavendish family residence, although she was heading north towards Scotland, possibly she must have had a bigger plan in mind, something grand, something that could affect everyone, but it was not known what it was, since she received no news of where she was. Even with enormous tension among the witches who just wanted the war to be over. Even some of the students lost their parents, and when the father did not return wounded from the war, it was almost inevitable that the students had parents who were serving in that confrontation, a real world war that could determine the destiny of all Europe and even affect the global economy.

In all these years the friendship between Diana, Louise, Hilda, Bianca, Anne and Elisabeth was what kept the group strong, they became much closer and friendlier, so much so that Holbrooke did a kindness and put Windsor to stay in the blue team with McLaren and Williams, since the girls' team was empty and they needed a student, leaving the green team to a new student, Bianca loved being part of the blue team, since it was a room full of luxury, although she missed the huge room with the secret passage.

The girls on the blue and red teams even did well during those difficult years, being the smartest and also practically the ones who helped the whole class stay on top, even with Denise's death, it was the six girls who cheered up the whole class, they were the ones who kept the feeling of being passed by the teacher Denise McLaren making the woman proud to see the students graduate, so much so that the whole class eventually got enough grades to graduate, the whole class was doing well, they even created an admiration and respect for Diana, Louise, Hilda, Bianca, Elisabeth and Anne, as the six heroines who saved the academy's desire to continue with their studies.

June 10, 1916, they were still in the middle of the Great World War, but even so the students of Luna Nova's class of 1913 managed to graduate, that day they were even forgetting what happened in the world of terrible, to enjoy and celebrate that day was special, all the students were wearing gowns and capes just waiting to be announced that they were graduating, little by little Miranda Holbrooke called the students.
