Yunsoo waddled to the man and crawled onto the couch "daddy," the man smiled and glanced down at the adorable six year old and put him into his lap. "Yes Yun?" He asked and the little boy crinkled his nose at the nickname he loathed "daddy, whats a soulmate?"
Kyungsoo thought for a while. "It's uh... Well, it's like a best friend, but more. It's the one person in the world that knows you better than anyone else" the boy nodded and itched his nose and listened intently to his daddies words. "It's someone who makes you a better person. Actually, they don't make you a better person, you do that yourself because they inspire you. A soul mate is someone who you carry with you forever. It's the one person who knew you and accepted you and believed in you before anyone else did or when no one else would. And no matter what happens, you'll always love her. Nothing can ever change that. Make sense?" He explained and the boy nodded "is Mr.Kim your soulmate?" He asked and the father widened his eyes at the mention of his neighbour. "Well uh," he got flustered and smiled. "Sure" he said and his smile grew thinking of his neightbour.
Later on Jongin came over for dinner the boy watched his daddy interact with Mr.Kim. How his daddy gazed and laughed and how Mr.Kim would compliment his daddy.
While Kyungsoo washed the dishes he waddled to Mr.Kim and he pulled his pant leg making the taller man lean down. "What's a soulmate, Mr.Kim?" When he received a response like his daddies he asked "Is my daddy your soulmate?" He got a flustered yes and the boy laughed, pulling Jongin towards the kitchen.
Kyungsoo was drying his hands when Jongin bumped into him and their noses bumped as well. The little boy watched from under the table and saw them both all shy
Jongins fingers trailed along Kyungsoo's jaw and their lips touched. Ans it lasted long before Yunsoo jumped out and suprised them both "soulmates!" He cheered.
