What has the world come to?!

I am not what you think I am

What is my sin i ask?

What is it my mask?

You blame me from dawn to dusk

Everyday: "you a terrorist" you husk

Am a muslim that's my brand

I come from the arab land

With that said what is in your mind?

Without even thinking "i know your kind"

You speak yet you don't know me

For the sins of a few you blame me

I thought you claimed Jesus died for me

We should be free of sins you and me

He is killed, I don't even know why?

I sit down and wonder what's this Oh My

We have to change this world i think as i cry

I devise a plan starting with my people i'll try

Before i even execute my plan

You execute me What's wrong man?!

I mean I have never killed anyone

And just then against me you turn?

Or is it one of those situations

Of the scientists explanation

That people have to die in a nation

Survival technique for upcoming generation?

We dream to live in a soo just world

Where everyone is wise not just the bald

Where all of us are at peace no one is cold

Where when one falls we all are there to hold

A world so fair not by name

By actions done not by claim

Where all the wild should be tame

And all the murders judged the same

One act of terror termed terrorism

And another act of terror "hate crime"

Terrorism is coupled with the word barbarism

And "hate crime" with psychopath rhymed

Every soul is as precious as the other

As explained in Quran and the bible further

When did humanity choose the better brother

Killing any person can never be as light as a feather

Yes there are many killings we haven't heard

Many brutally murdered we haven't condemned

But a good act universally taken and exercised

Starts with the current problem and how its handled

To my three siblings in humanity

Who were killed mercilessly

To my other larger family

Cut off from this world brutally

I pass my condolence heart filled with sorrow

I pass my apologies my mind still so hollow

Wondering why people think so narrow
