Spencer couldn't breathe, he opened his mouth to scream but they were silenced by the water that was filling his lungs.

They burned more then the water he was being held under did.

He squirmed, kicked and wriggled, trying to escape Devon's grip, but the older Male was stronger.

Spencer's weak body was no match for his strength.

A few seconds later Spencer could feel his ears ringing, and darkness suddenly wrapped around him.

Spencer knew he was dying, but he didn't care.

He wanted it all to end.

He couldn't take the torture anymore.

But just as he accepted his fate, he was torn out of the water by a pair of even stronger arms.

Spencer gasped for air, violently, coughing and sputtering up water as air began to fill back into his lungs.

"You're okay Spencer. You're safe now."
A gentle voice whispered in his ear.

Spencer couldn't recognize the voice, all he knew was that whoever this was holding him, he felt safe with.

Once Spencer had stopped spewing up water and had calmed down a bit he looked up at the man who had saved him.

He couldn't tell who the person was at first, as his eyes were still blurred with water, but after blinking a few times he was able to get a clear view at who it was.

"You.." he whispered, his voice dry and hoarse from coughing.

"I'm Agent Derek Morgan. I'm here to help you." Derek assured the weak boy in his arms.

"But what if he comes back? He's going to kill you." Spencer whimpered, clutching the mans chest.

"No Spencer, he won't be back. He won't hurt you again. He's dead I killed him." Derek said softly, his voice soothing Spencer.

He had no idea who this man was, but for some reason, he believed him.

And surprisingly he trusted him, even after being locked up all these years.

Spencer hugged Derek tight, never wanting to let go.

"I want to go home.." Spencer sniffled, soaking Derek's shirt with his tears.

Derek lightened the gentle grip he had on Spencer, causing Spencer to panic.

"W..what are you doing?" Spencer asked, his eyes full of fear.

"Please don't leave me.."

"I'm not going anywhere Spencer. I just need you to do something for me okay?"

Spencer furrowed his brows in confusion.

"What?" He asked.

"I need you to wake up.."

Spencer's eyes fluttered open seconds later, his surroundings changing as he came to realize he was dreaming.
