Daichi's POV

"The funeral of my classmate Sugawara Koushi took place on a rainy day, entirely at odds with how he was in my life. I imagine a great many people were at his funeral, their numbers and tears proving his life meant something. From both the funeral, and the wake. I was absent. I stayed cooped up at home."

I got up to look at my phone, scroll through our old messages. The last message i sent him, it was short, no meaning i guess. "I Want To Eat Your Pancrea's". I have no idea, if he even saw the message.

Timeskip

I was helping the librarian as usual when he came running over.

"Sorry! I ran late from a extra class."

He was so loud, we were in a library.

"Suga, this is a library you know? Don't cause so much ruckus!"

"Whatever you say!" He said putting books back on the shelf. I stared st him for a moment.

"What are you doing?"

"Putting books back, what's it look like Daichi" He said, putting another book on the shelf.

"Your putting those on the wrong shelf" I said as i walked away. He followed of course.

"Then teach me how!" He said stopping the cart by its front.

"You need to learn how to read the category codes, Suga" I shoot back, picking up some more books that go on the fictional shelf.

"Geez! But there's so many of them, that's a lot work." He sighed.

I ignored him and started putting up more books from the cart. He sat on the floor next to the cart, bored. Rocking the cart back and forth.

"OH YEAH! YOU GOTTA HEAR WHAT I SAW ON TV YESTERDAY DAICHI! IT WAS LIKE- SUPER STRANGE!!" He yelled. People looked at him.

"Okay, but keep it down." I say, looking at him walk back and forth.

"In the past, if there was ever something wrong with your liver, youd eat a liver, and if there was something wrong with your stomach youd eat a stomach! Apparently that'd cure your illness, cool isnt it!" He said in excitement.

"Suga- i think your just realizing your a cannibal." I say, passing him to the other shelf.

"What im saying is- your the only one i can ask-.." He says drawing designs on a book covered in dust.

"Ask what?" I say, looking confused at him.

"Oh come on! You know!" He says.

"Huh-"

And just with that i was pushed onto a wall, he looked upset? But then said the next words with glee .

"I Want To Eat Your Pancrea's!"
