Nina is a charming and an obedient girl. Her parents were proud of her.One day, her parents gifted her an expensive watch.It was the same watch which she had admired in a watch shop. Her heart craved for it, but she never showed signs of wanting it.Nina didn't want to be a brat.And now, she had it , in front of her. Delighted, she wore the watch and thanked her parents.She asked her parents if she could wear the watch to school.But her parents refused politely. It was the first time they refused her from doing something. She returned to her room having a fake smile.
Suddenly, her face lit up. She decided to sneak the watch to school."No one will know".
Next day, she kept the watch in her bag. Her friends were amazed when they saw Nina's watch. Pink strap and a gold and white dial. Simple yet fragile.She returned from school, kept the watch back. This continued for 3 days.One day her mother saw all this. She told Nina's father about all this. They were upset. Nina is just a child, she couldn't control curiousity. They thought.
On the forth day, in class, the simple watch fell out of her hand and broke. Horrified looks on her and her friends faces.Her friends tried to console her, but she couldn't concentrate on anyting , except, the broken watch.
On reaching home, she wished to keep all this a secret but she didn't want to lie. She parked her courage in the garage of depair. Bursting into tears, she told her parents about all this. They told"Nina we know, just don't do it again. Ok?"She nodded her head. They all had a group hug.
Nina went to her room. Truth had set her free. "But how did my parents know that I had taken the watch to school" she thought. "But let it go, it isn't important".
Lesson one:
Always tell the truth. U will have to tell may lies to cover one lie.
Lesson two:
Never be afraid of telling truth to elders and friends and family.
