[01] A New Day

*beep beep*

An annoying sound.

*beep beep*

It's getting even more annoying.

*beep*

"Ugh... okay, okay." I moved my hand, trying to reach out for my phone. I turn off the alarm, as I get up lazily. It's always hard to part with you, but I'll see you again tonight, bed.

I took a shower, getting ready, then head downstairs to tidy up the café. As I mop the floor, I heard a female voice and a familiar voice outside.

"Good morning, oneesan. I'm sorry, but I got an important appointment today... But I'm free tomorrow~" the boy said.

"eeh, if it's an important thing, then we can't help it then.. But promise to have a lunch with us tomorrow." said the girl.

"it's a promise then! See you tomorrow, oneesan~ bye bye!" he said

"Ramuda's at it again, huh" I sighed as I flipped the 'closed' sign on the door, and suddenly the pink haired boy burst in while hugging me.

"[Y/N] oneesan! I missed ya~" he said while snuggling his head on my chest. Not wanting to end up like a tomato, I tried to hold myself from being a blushing mess. Luckily, another two man came up to stop this adorable pink gremlin's behavior.

"oy, Ramuda. Stop troubling [Y/N] already!" Dice said while bonking his head.

"ouch, it hurts! Gentaro, Dice just punched me!" he said, while pouting.

"I didn't punch you! It was just a light pat!" Dice said, defending himself.

"alright, alright. [Y/N], we're very sorry for our leader's behavior." Gentaro said in his calm tone.

"eeh, what's wrong with my behavior?? I'm just showing all my affection to [Y/N]..." Ramuda said, still pouting.

"okay, okay. Why don't you take a seat? I assumed you three order the usual for breakfast?" I said while still trying to calm myself. Luckily I have always remain emotionless for most of the time, so it's not that difficult for me to hide my true emotions.

"you know us pretty well." Gentaro said while nodding, and telling the rest of his team to sit down.

[E/N], the usual order please!"

"here you go" I said while placing their order.

"thank you, [Y/N]! Also, no discount for today?" Dice said.

"I will give you a discount when you managed to pay all of your debts." I said

"Man, you're no fun..." Dice said pouting, while Gentaro let out a small giggle. 

Just as I'm on my way to head back to the counter, Ramuda grabbed my hand.

"say, [Y/N] oneesan. Would you like to join us just for today?"

I hesitated, but knowing he wouldn't leave me alone, I nodded and give a sign to my employees that I'll take a short break. It's still early after all, the customers usually come at night.

"eeh, oneesan.. you don't wanna eat? You must eat to stay healthy! here I'll share my pancakes with ya~" Ramuda said. Well, it looked like he pitied me, seeing how thin I am. Yes, it must be like that.

"no, it's okay, Ramuda. I can make it on my own." I refused.

"nope~ it'll take a while for you to make another one on your own. I don't want to waste my precious time with you, [Y/N] oneesan!"

"alright, if you insist. I'll go grab the extra spoon first." I said as I take it on the counter and sat next to him. I waited for him to take the first bite and then take a spoon for me.

To broke the silence, Gentaro started to make a random story. Which I've always enjoyed.

After finishing his short story-telling, Ramuda started talking.

"by~the~way~ talking about first meeting, don't you think our first meeting was waaaay too fun~?" he said.

"I don't know if doing some background check considered fun for our Ramuda." Gentaro replied, while sipping his tea.

"ehehe, sorry~ sorry~. I wont do it again, promise~!" Ramuda said in his cute manner.

"hmmm, speaking of first meeting, Ramuda's a bit weird when he meet [Y/N] for the first time though.." Dice said.

"e-eeh, I don't remember acting like that, though" Ramuda replies.

"now that Dice say it, your act extremely strange that day, Ramuda." Gentaro continues.

"yeah, as if you just saw a ghost, man! You ran out of this place look terrified and all. Did [Y/N] scare you or something?" Dice said, giggling.

Well, no wonder though. It's only natural if he's scared of me. I don't have an elegant nor cute face like any others.

"oi, [Y/N]. You should tell us what happened that day." Dice said, still giggling.

"you guys, don't trouble her like that, there's no way she remembered what happens, right~" Ramuda said, somewhat nervous.

I opened up my mouth and started to speak, "well, I don't mind though.. if I remembers correctly that day...."
