The Versace holiday event was a small, diverse crowd. From actors to models, business moguls and other friendly fashion brands associated with Versace, the booked restaurant was lively with interaction.
The private gathering was able to ease more of Jungkook's nerves as he didn't catch a glimpse of a camera or anything without a direct invitation. No one was even on their phones, respectful to the event's etiquette.
"Champagne?" Taehyung's firm hand was resting on his shoulder, staring at the bar counter on the far end of the floor. "They'll be passing snacks around soon."
"I'm okay for food, don't worry." Jungkook chuckled. "I could take a drink, though."
Much to his surprise, Taehyung was nudging a flute of bubbling liquid into his hand immediately, the peachy color mirroring some similar shade to that of his hand.
"Fast service." The younger scrunched his nose, holding it with ease and fidgeting in his suit. "This place is crazy."
"It's pretty relaxed, actually." He argued. "Are you uncomfortable?"
"No, no." Jungkook rushed to deny. "Just not used to the formal wear. Suit and tie aren't as nice as sweats."
"You look very nice." Taehyung's hand brushed his bicep and he followed it with a smile. They couldn't actually hold hands or stand as close as they usually did. Not in the circumstances that were given. Jungkook was there like a guest to the model.
They'd arrived earlier than most guests at the event, allowing Taehyung to do his usual greeting and then spare some time to accompany the younger with milder interactions.
