It felt like any other day when I managed to force myself out of the bed and try to eat something. Just another day worrying if I can ever complete this death game and go back to my loved ones. Not that I had any to worry about since my best friend has yet to join me and I'm stuck with his girlfriend until.
"Good Morning Vidron. You seem to be in a pretty good mood" was all I could hear as I exited the Inn I'd been staying at, turning to my left while noticing the red haired girl running towards me from the weapons shop. Vashi. Fast with a Scimitar but overall doesn't know how to defend herself. At least she's trying but I only stick around because it gives me a little hope.
"How do you manage to always stay positive despite the fact that we're stuck in a death game?" I asked her while putting my hands in my pockets, already getting slightly annoyed.
"Because I know I'm with my friends and brother. They'll protect me until the end" Vashi exclaimed with excitement as she looked to a shop that had two of our party members occupied. As far as her brother goes,I haven't seen his useless ass since the second floor was beat. Too much of a wimpy bitch to fight so he hides away in the Town of Beginnings. Many do that because they're scared but if we're going to get out then we're going to need all the help we can get.
I shrugged as I cursed to myself in Russian before walking off to the rest of the group with Vashi following behind. "Vail. Celira. Found anything out for the quest or are you just going to keep sitting around?"
"We're just taking a break. Resting up some before we go out exp hunting again. You should do the same. This may be a death game but it's still a game. Enjoy it while it's here" Celira proclaimed in her annoyed tone as she turned to me. I don't blame her for being annoyed but my only goal is to get out of the game "Besides we just got to the 9th floor. You should relax for a bit before we go risk our life again"
"Yeah whatever. I need some new armor either way. Durability for this one is going away and I'm not in the mood to pay a blacksmith to repair it" I walked off as I really didn't want to hear them say anything. I just wanted to be free. Wanted to have my life back where it wasn't controlled by some asshole developer that wants to play god
"Why hello there adventurer. It seems like you're in need of some information that I can give you. Though of course I don't work for free" is all I really heard since I tried ignoring them but gave in since it was a chance to get money. I turned to find a girl that can't be a day older than 15 before opening my menu up. "I'm Argo. I'm a information broker so if you ever need some information you can come to me"
"Depends on the price. I'm not going anything above 1 million Col" I said while eyeing them to make sure they're not scamming me out of my money
"The price depends on the information. Money comes first then the information" Argo said with a sly grin, like she knew I would give in before giving her the money and getting my information. Damn girl and her stupid whiskers.
I decided to meet up with the rest and tell them what I'd found out, knowing it could help us in some way while gearing up. We've gotta get through this floor if we're going to at least get Halfway through the game. I can't afford to die just yet. Not until I'm reunited with my family. To me,this information is my only hope.
