As I drive around the streets of London, having moved away from my old home, considering I lived with my parents and needed a place to stay where I can actually be myself and not have a boring old schedule. I sighed, feeling no luck as I searched for signs for any rooms open for use in someone's home. A then come across a sign that was stapled to a post that read 'Room open! 123 Clayborne street!' in messy letters.
I smiled, pressing my foot against the gas pedal, wanting to eagerly get there, coming across a white house with a slightly dark colored red roof and the lawn had signs sticking out of it that read 'room open!', 'spare room!' in the same messy writing. I hummed, pursing my lips as I got out of my car and shut the door behind me, heading down the concrete pathway that led up to the porch, stepping up on it and ringing the door bell.
I hear a bit of bickering between a what sounded like two men about who is to answer the door before I heard a crashing sound and shuffling before the door was then opened, revealing a tall, ginger man. His hair was an nice orange color and was nicely brushed, his jaw was sharp and freckles dusted his face and his eyes were a gorgeous blue. His outfit was simple, a purple hoodie and a pair of jeans. He gasped. "Are you here for the room?" he asked, smiling brightly. I smiled. "Y-Yeah. Is it still available?" I asked softly, to which he nodded, stepping aside to let me in, which I did so, not before wiping my feet on the welcome mat outside the door to get any crud from off my shoes. A man who wore a green hoodie gave a smile.

"Yeah! It is!" he smiled, "Here, I can show you the room, it's right upstairs follow me." he hummed, leading me up the wooden stair case and into a hall way which had five doors, one having a white paper taped on it that said 'Edds room', the one next to it with the word's 'Tom's Room DO NOT ENTER, SPECIFICALLY COMMIE'  which made me very worried about whoever 'commie' and  'Tom' were. And another room with the words written in messy letters just like on all the signs about the room, 'M att' S roOm !'And then one more door next to a door that had no label on it that read, 'Tord's room', which was written neatly.
The green clad must have noticed me looking at the doors. "Oh! Sorry, those are going to be your other roommates, those two are out shopping. And uh, you already met Matt, who was the one who opened the door for you. And I'm Edd. Eheh." he chuckled a bit nervously as he scratched the back of his neck. I smiled. "I'm (Y/N), nice to meet you, Edd." I replied sweetly. Edd smiled at me. "Nice to meet you as well. I hope you'll be living with us, you seem very kind.

"This made me smile. "Aw, thank you, Edd. You seem very kind as well and I hope to be living here as well." I responded. Edd nodded, "Shall we?" he motioned to the door, to which I nodded, watching as he opened the door and stepped inside the room. The room was a pretty good size, having (f/c) walls with a white trim. There was a twin sized bed with ugly looking floral comforters that would be in someone's grandmother's bedroom. There was a nightstand with a lamp and a digital clock beside the bed. And tucked away in the corner was a dresser and a step in closet. "Its not really much but of course you can decorate it anyway you'd like." Edd smiled.

I look over at him. "This is great. I'd probably only changed the bedding, but that's about it." I stated. "So, how much is the rent?" I asked, which took Edd by surprise. "Rent? What rent..?" he questioned. "Well.. I kinda assume you wouldn't give this room away for free to a stranger." I stated softly. Edd smiled.

"Well. You see, Matt has A LOT of junk in his room even though we just renovated. And he wanted to use this room to put more of his junk. But we can't take all the clutter any more. My friends call me a mom, which means I clean a lot and I can't handle one room filled with junk that no one needs or uses." he explained. "Ah," I nodded. "That actually makes a lot of sense, and don't worry. I'll try not to be too messy."
I giggled. Edd let out a soft laugh. "I'm sure you wont be as bad as Matt. Oh, and I must warn you, two of the roommates do fight a lot.. So it can get kind of noisy.." he spoke. "Oh.. I'm sure it will be fine, I bet I could get used to it fairly quickly." I gave him a sweet smile. After almost half an hour, I was sitting at the kitchen island with Edd sitting beside me, a cola can in his hand as he occasionally took sips from it.

"So, are you wanting to move in..?" Edd asked softly, his eyes locked on mine. I thought for a moment before I gave a nod. "Yes, I would like that very much." I replied. Edd smiled brightly and stood up. "Great! When will you be moving your stuff in?" he asked softly. I hummed. "Oh! I can actually drive and get it, you see, I used to live with my parents. And I didn't really want to be such a burden anymore. So I decided to move out. My things are already packed because if I wasn't to find a room out to rent I'd probably get myself an apartment. Its just a few boxes and maybe two suitcases." I spoke. Edd gave a nod, "Sounds good, and here." he set his cola down on the marble counter, heading over to a cabinet, opening it.

I hear a key jingle, watching as he pulled out a small silver key, watching Edd hold it out for me. "House key." he hummed. I smiled, taking the key, stuffing it in my pocket. "Thank you." I spoke as I stood, "I'll be back soon.. See you." I waved at him as I headed out of the kitchen and out the front door, getting back into my car, driving off.
