Coming of Age

Sasuke, Then Naruto

Naruto's pov:

I was walking through the woods just out side the village as it was just past sunset and I like to go on my walk around this time. Suddenly I heard a faint sound coming from ahead of me and slightly to the left of my path. It sounds kinds like Sakura-Chan? I quietly jumped up into a tree and move to where I can see the person crying. "It is Sakura-Chan!" I think to myself, "but why is she crying?" Just then I see a familiar teme walk underneath the tree I'm sitting on and go over to Sakura-Chan and hug her. I know that Sakura-Chan likes sasuke so I'm kinda scared to go over there now. I watch as Sakura tells sasuke something that I dont hear because I was too far away. I can't go closer to hear what they were saying in risk of being spotted.

~A Few Days Before~

Third person POV:

After training one day after training Sakura looked over at sasuke and thought, "today's the day! Today's the day I'll tell him" she walked over to him and timidity asked if she could talk to him alone later. Remembering what she was going to tell him she started blushing profusely.

Sasuke looked up to see Sakura walking over to him. He rolled his eyes a little bit thinking that she would confess to him again. Well he wasn't wrong about that but he wasn't totally right either. When she asked him if they could talk alone later he rolled his eyes and agreed. After he agreed he saw how hard Sakura was blushing.

~later~

"Well? What did you want to tell me?" Sasuke said with hints of annoyance in his voice.

Sakura hesitated then said what she had been rehearsing. "Look Sasuke, I know you are just as gay for naruto as I am Hinata but is it okay if I keep pretending to like you and we just be friends?"

Sasuke was in total shock. "She knew about his crush on naruto, she knew he was gay, and she was lesbian and crushing on Hinata?" He thought frantically. "Wait... you have a crush on Hinata??" He said all the previous annoyance in his voice replace by utter shock.

Sakura put a hand on her neck sheepishly, "yea... so was I right about you having a thing for naruto?"

Blushing sasuke replied "y-ye-yea" " how did you find out?"

Sakura smirked, "oh a lesbian girl who spends 50% of her energy pretending to like a boy and trying to hide her feelings knows a couple things" she said with a hint of sarcasm and pride as she flipped her hair dramatically.

"About the us being friends thing,"

"Yea?"

"Well since I know you don't like me, I would like to be friends with you" He said smiling slightly for the first time in a long time he smiled a genuine smile.

Sakura smiled too. "And when we get rejected we can comfort eachother"

"Haha sure"

~present time~

Sasuke's POV

I was walking through the forest when heard Sakura crying I little to the side of my path. I immediately walked over to her and kneeled in front of her. She was singing softly to herself, "she's a she's a lady~ and I am not naruto, singing she's a she's a lady lady and I am not a boy, she's a she's a la~day~ and I am just a line without a hook~~~ " suddenly without warning she collapsed onto him and started sobbing. "S-sh-she t-t-told m-me s-sh-e li-lik-like-d Na-Naru-t-o" Sakura stuttered out between huge ugly sobs. I rubbed her back soothing knowing that this wouldn't be the worst of her heart break.

-flashback-

He was playing outside and got bored so he went inside to see what itachi was doing. He walked in on him and suishui kissing. Let's just say his innocent eyes were ruined and he got out of there fast. They didn't even notice him and made sure to close the door when he left. That day he asked itachi about it and learned a lot about relationships and heartbreak.

-end flashback-

~Next day at training~

Third person POV

"Sooo~~~~ are you dating Sakura-Chan now teme?" He asked leaning into sasuke obliviously. Sasuke looked up at naruto and blushed at little at the close proximity. Luckily naruto being the oblivious child he is doesn't notice.

"No dobe, thats gross." He said scooting himself a little further away from naruto.

"Hey! Don't call Sakura-Chan gross!"

Sasuke rolled his eyes. "I wasn't calling her gross I was saying dating her was gross."

"That's still rude teme! You should say that about someone who likes you!"

Sasuke not being able to look naruto in the eyes looked to the side to see Sakura standing there. Her looked at her a question in his eyes and she nodded slightly. "She doesn't like me dobe!"

This confused naruto and as he was trying to process this information Sakura came over to them and started yelling at naruto "I am a lesbian damn it naruto! Stop hitting on me! I don't like sasuke and I never will! Also he's not into girls anyway!"

Naruto looked one of them and the the other completely and utterly shocked. And just like that they were out to the rest of team seven. Little did they know kakashi has seen naruto asking sasuke about humans Sakura and both his teadar and gatdar started going off. So he sat in a tree and watched. He heard ever. Single. Word.
