Eren's POV:
It was the next day after Mikasa's hospital visit. I was relieved to finally get to the bottom of what was Mikasa ill, though I wish she elected to stay home rather than go to the theater hall. Since starting college, two of our electives were of course chorus, but also theater. Mikasa was always a better actor than me, but I had my fair share of performances. She needed to pick something up since we had a rehearsal not so long ago. I needed to double-check my makeup brand anyway, so I was happy to go with her.
We finally arrived at the theater hall which was not so far from the chorus room. We got out of the car and went through the backstage door. Our hell week is in about 3 weeks, so Tech was all over the hall. For the most part, not a lot of people were in the hall.
Mikasa: "I'll be in the Girls' dressing room. Meet you on stage?"
Eren: "Haha why the stage?"
Mikasa: "I don't know. Just want to take in the empty seats."
Eren: "Sigh ok. I'll just look at my make-up really quick."
We parted ways and headed to our respective locations. I opened the Boys' dressing room and went to my specific mirror. I rummaged around the makeup drawer and found my foundation. I wrote down the brand and color and put it back. I left the dressing room and headed for the stage. I was about to turn a corner before I bumped into someone. They toppled over as I looked down at the person I bumped into. I've never seen her before, she was probably new. She was fairly short, about the same height as Armin back in High school. She had thick black hair that extended past her shoulders. Her hair was parted in the middle and tied in loose pigtails with light-blue hair ties. She was rubbing her head and looked down at the dropped papers. She started to frankly collect them as I dropped down and helped her.
Girl: "Shit shit shit, Mr. Lobov is going to kill me."
Eren: "Hey hey hey it's ok let me help. Sorry for bumping into you."
Girl: "No No I'm sorry. I'm new here and I'm trying to make a good impression on the rest of Tech, but I feel like I haven't, and now this and now I'm rambling and now I'm sounding annoying as hell and I'm just going to shut up."
I chuckled a bit since it reminded me of how Armin used to be back in middle school. Shy and always anxious. We collected the last of the papers and stood up. Before she can walk past me, I extended my arm for a handshake.
Eren: "My name is Eren by the way. Eren Jaeger."
Girl: "M-Mina. Mina Carolina."
We shook hands and left. I walked a bit farther and now I can see the stage. Lightning probably just finished up since all the electrics were raised back into the catwalks. There I could see Mikasa walking around, but she looked off. I walked a bit closer and her normally slim, curvy body, started to grow near her stomach. That's when I realized she was wearing a fake pregnancy belly. She turned and saw me. She started to pretend as if she was pregnant which I found oh so adorable.
Mikasa: "Eren! My feet hurt."
Eren: "Sigh dork. Why do you have that on? Future performance?"
Mikasa: "You can say that. I just wanted to prepare the feeling of it."
Eren: "Haha what do you mean to prepare? I thought you said you'd prepare for pregnancy the moment you found out. Why are you doing it now all of a sudden?"
Mikasa: "Becuase... well becasue... I'm preparing."
I was about to ask her weirdly phrased answer till I realized what she meant. I looked down as she pretends to rub the fake belly. I ran up to her and just like the first time, I twirled her around as we screamed with joy.
Eren: "Wait. This isn't Petra's like last time right?"
Mikasa: "It ours dummy haha."
Eren: "Good."
I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her in for a kiss. I let go and held her shoulders.
Eren: "Oh shit... I'm a dad."
Mikasa: "Yes you are."
