The Start

—Diamonds POV—

"Bro I school need to hurry up and be over already, cause im bout to kill myself . I cant wait for summer, think about it,  Cali, my Auntie JJ and the boys- dont even get me started !" I say nudging my friend Zoe knowing she needs a new boyfriend cause Zay toxic ass aint it .

She rolls her eyes and says " Girl please, you know me and zay forever, and yea im ready too, you sure she dont have no problem with us coming ?"

I ask "Who, Auntie JJ ?"

Then Ari followed by saying "Yea, I mean did she ever even respond to you asking if we could go ?"

and Maddy looked at me waiting for an answer .

I said "Well— no not really but im sure she will."

They all roll their eyes.

"Okay yall I promise Ill call her later to get a definite answer." I say,

"Yeah sure, " They all say in unison .

"Finally, the life of a free freshman, soon to be Sophomore smells great, alright come on yall, my house it is " I say

"No D, you gotta call ya Auntie and ask if we can even go, because you not boutta call when you get home and we all know it" Says Maddy.

Ari and Zoe shake their heads to agree.

"Okay okay."

I dial my aunties number, and its ringing . ringing . ringing . she picked up.

"Hi auntie, i was just calling to ask if you had an answer on whether or not the girls could come down to cali with me ."

She asked "Where they gon stay ?"

" Well its funny you ask that, I was hoping with us,"

𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐢𝐭, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐢𝐫𝐥𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐧𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩 .

"Fine D but you gotta make sure they dont give me no headache," She gave in ..

"Thank you thank you thank you auntie, i love you sooo much," I said

" Yea yea, be here by Tuesday" She said .

"Okay," I shook my head towards the girls, basically telling them she said yes, and they all chimed in and said "thank you", we said our goodbye, and we went to my place for the rest of the night .

𝐈𝐦 𝐬𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐈 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐲 𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐢, 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐦𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬. 𝐌𝐲 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐭 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐲, 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐮𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥 .. but its fine, cause this summer, all of that is outta sight, outta mind . Also Zay hasnt been answering my texts, like at all, usually I wouldve gotten something by now .. I hope hes okay ..  My bruise on my stomach still hasnt healed yet . Anywho, time to get packing and meet up at D's crib .

—Ari's POV—

Im pretty much done packing, just waiting on the go, to say we can go to D's and get going to the airport .

— Maddy's POV —

Im struggling getting up rn, im so tired, but imma go take my shower, brush my teeth and all that good stuff.

—Diamond's POV—

Im all packed, im about to call the girls and tell them they can come now, and then we'll go head to the airport .

TIME SKIP TO THEYRE ON THEIR WAY TO THE AIRPORT

We all get in the car, and we're blasting Brent Faiyaz Song - Eden singing our hearts out

Before you know it we are at the airport and Ari starts hyperventilating .. then I realized that shes always been afraid of airplanes ..

"Aww im sorry Ari, I forgot youre afraid of airplanes, my fault .." I said

"Dont worry *inhale* about it *exhales*. " She says trying to catch her breath .

We all hold her hand and try to comfort her while walking into the airport with my mom.

We sit down waiting for the airline people to board our flight,

"Flight 792 From Philadelphia to California" the speaker says

"Welp thats us" Maddy says

Then we board our flight .
