-Lots of people have tried to hit on you, so he sorta gained and overwhelming feeling of protectiveness

-He's already lost so much, and he can't lose you, you just mean so much to him

-He'll make sure that everyone around knows that you're with him, but he won't scare people away like Nazi Slut

-He likes you a whole lot, even though it's your choice if you want to break up with him or not, after Georgie he would be completely broken

-He trusts you, and you know after Georgie he really just needs someone, that someone is you
