Chapter 1

Y/N POV
Y/N has been captured by Hydra sitting in a chair in a dark room her hair falling on her sweaty face wondering why she feels so weak, tear-stained cheeks sore arms, and a weak voice, y/n soon hears footsteps coming closer to her she closes her eyes shut as she hears a man speak some foreign language most likely Russian. Eyes still shut y/n refuses to open them she always thought of being a superhero but not like this you're snapped out of your thoughts as the lights turn on and you hear somebody yelling at you.

"Look at me soldier !" opening your eyes slowly you have fear in your eyes but quickly shake it off "I'm Y/N Y/L/N what I'm scared for they don't even know I have powers hopefully they'll work" "I'll be useless to you I don't want to be in this program." men dressed in all black and tactical gear start raising guns to your head

"yeah perfect time to use your powers girl" the scientist wave them off and comes closer to you only inches away from your face "you are correct weak and useless is what you are but your pretty little face would be perfect for the winter soldier program" as you attempt to shut off the power they have already injected you with the super-soldier serum and everything goes black.

Avenger Compound

"Capsicle you have to calm down" Tony yells as a tall blonde hair man is running towards him "They have captured someone else, a poor innocent girl that's Wanda age for god sake and you want me to calm down" the man angrily protest against Tony "Steve we'll leave tonight and head to hyrda base if we can even find it"

"I know where she is being held" Tony and Steve whip around to find a man with curly brown hair eying the floor with worry. "Where is she Barnes" "The Soviet Wing Hydra wouldn't give up on the winter solider program so easily"

"Well we'll have to go now who knows what they could have done to her if we wait till tonight" Steves runs off to find Natasha to set up the mission "Hey that's my job he comes off the ice and think he can just take over" Tony walks off leaving Bucky alone with his thoughts.

Bucky POV
I walk back to my room trying to piece together the details of this mission but also trying to figure out am I ready to go ... I get disturbed just thinking about it but it will kill me inside knowing someone has to go through the same thing I did. Bucky reaches his room and goes in sitting on the edge of the bed face in his hands he quickly turned his head up as he senses a figure in the door.

"It's just me" as the curly red hair woman leans into the door frame "Tony wanted me to tell you we leave in 5 minutes" "Okay thanks Nat" he gets up and head to the closet to grab his suit while Natasha watches him with a blank expression "You okay," she asked finally speaking "Uhm yeah sure" "Okay Quinjet will be out towards the front"

Releasing a Breath I didn't realize I was holding I stand and take off my current clothes and slip on my suit hoping nothing goes wrong this mission.

Y/N POV
You quickly open your eyes feeling weaker than before realizing you are alone you begin to cry.
My dream of being a superhero is dying before it even starts .
The thought you just made makes you cry even harder. "At least I can try to get out of this chair ." You attempt to focus on the light to get sparks to fly, your hands begin to glow and the light starts to shake sending a strong lighting bolt to your right arm instead of the leather strap

"Shit" you mumble under your breath and you look over to see your arm bleeding "I hope they don't think nothing of it" BOOM "WHAT THE HELL !!"

Scientists start running towards you frantically unbuckling you from the chair one of the scientists come up to you pointing his finger "I don't care how weak you are we are under attack and you will -" before he can even finish his sentence he drops to the floor unconscious from being shot "Why do I even try" the room starts spinning and you sit down and beginning to remember the bleeding than everything goes dark again.

Bucky POV

We arrive at hydra main base and it sends shivers down my spine just being back here but I have to save this girl ... Whatever it takes

"Bucky you have to go save the girl because you'll know where she is held, I can go with you if you need me" "I'll be fine but thanks Steve" It feels like my throat is closing and my breath is cut short I attempt to shake the nerves as the jet starts to open revealing the base

"Everybody spilt up take out any guards" Tony says through the comns I go straight for the room trying to avoid any guards or agents "Buck you doing ok there ?" I don't respond Steve is my friend but he tends to get me worked up I begin to come closer to the room I was being held and hear people yelling I tense up but quickly get to the door and shoot everybody in the room avoiding the girl and ducking for cover trying to relax "Winter Solider has its perks I guess" then I hear a girl speaking and it goes silent running back to the room I see the girl sitting in the chair unconscious "Shit I'm too late or not"

I check her pulse and she's still breathing I'm supposed to be saving her but can't help but admire her "Buck get out of there quick more guards are coming" Steve says through the comns and that makes me tense up "Alright I'm coming but she's unconscious" "Okay we'll have Bruce look at her when we get back just hurry !" Steve sounds worried
Does he think i'll get captured again ?
Carrying her bridal style and see that she has an open wound and is bleeding out that makes me want to run even faster but I have to be steady "Please be okay Please"
