yes that means i like my bestfriend

which means i'm gay, and i'm not proud of it.

Carmen's POV

there's another one? i can't believe this, i never expected her to be the one but it's better than nothing. she just doesn't seem like one of them, she's so......pretty, popular, cheerleader, you get my drift. but my smart answer was just of my jaw dropping and her standing there waiting for me to speak. well this is awkward but i suppose it will have some explaining behind it. here goes nothing.

"well this is awkward"

"more than you know"

"oh i think i know"

she gives me a questioning look, well here comes the explaining,

"you see, i'm gay too" here comes the other explanation.....

GABE'S POV

i was sitting at lunch, talking with Trevor, my friend, when my gaze drifted off to Annie and Aaron talking and i immediately clenched my fists, wait WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?? she's my bestfriend, it's no biggie. But as i said that to myself, they start laughing and immediately my fists clench again. i can't wait for that trip, i just need to relax, that's it, it's just my head playing games.

"hey dude"

i snapped out of it, "hmm?"

"you spaced out are you back to reality yet? 'Cause i have to ask you a question"

"ya i'm back, fire away man" i said turning my gaze back to him.

"do you like Annie?"

"pssh, no she's my best friend, nothing more"

"good 'cause i was thinking about asking her out" in my mind i wanted to scream no but i knew better, she doesn't date so he would be rejected easily. though that though was evident my fists clenched under the table. thank gosh he couldn't see them he would definitely think something was up, which nothing is.

"good cause i'm thinking of going over there and talking to her"

i held the inner bear inside of me that was wanting to grrrrr but i said anyway, "sure go for it."

"well here goes nothing" he said taking a deep breath

"dude, relax" i said and he walked over to her. great, here comes the rejection but something inside me said, hopefully.

ANNIE POV

"hey Annie"

i looked over to see Trevor, one of Gabe's friends staring at me, it was kinda awkward considering i've had a crush on him for a couple months, yes i know, me, the non-believer is crushing? i said i don't believe in love, not a small crush. i haven't even told Gabe, and i've known Gabe since diaper years.

"oh hey trevor" i said

"hey um could i ask you something?" my head flashed with questions but i, being me, ignored them.

"sure" i said after a while, making sure to sound confident

"okay" he said, he sounded nervous

"out with it Trevor" i said, urging him on

"um, well will you go out with me" i tried not to smile but i couldn' help but just have a twinkle in my eyes, and he must have seen it too because he suddenly looked relieved.

"well-" i started, kind teasing him, but i immediately regretted it because his face shown a deep sadness and something that i couldn't quite put my finger on.

"just one?' i said and his smile was as big as mine was, or at least close to it then he was hugging me saying "you won't regret it! i'll pick you up tomorrow at 8!"" i looked back at his table to see Gabe sitting at his table with a sad and maybe jealous look on his face, suddenly i feel a pang in my stomach, and i have no freakin' idea why. i must becoming moody, and it's probably my time of month, but i suddenly can't wait for the trip, it's in 2 days, gulp.

Gabe's POV

he came over with a smile that wasn't there to start with. now i was getting worried.

"hey man, what happened?"

"she said yes." his smile broadened. WHAT?? she never has dated anybody!! now, out of the blue, she decides to date Trevor? but to not show my disappointment i said

"when's the date?" seeing if it was before or after the trip. to see if i had time. then i reminded myself, WHAT DO I NEED TIME FOR??

"tomorrow." something dropped in my stomach when he said that, must've been something i ate.

"man dude, you scored, big time." i said, and Trevor kinda jumped.

"i know man!!! she is so smokin!! can't wait to get my hands on her!" i was laughing at his lttle kidiness(A/N: kiddiness? pronounced kid-i-ness), but than what he said registered in my mind.

"you're just using her?" i said, shock and anger filling my voice. trevor actually looked kinda scared

"y-y-ya man, isn't that what we do best?" he said looking doubtfully at me. oh yeah, i forgot we played almost every girl in the school.

 "totally, scared ya did i?" i said now smirking

"oh ha ha ha Mr. Smarty-pants"

"i know right?" i remarked, then shoved a spoonful of peas in my mouth wondering how i was going to do this.

unknown person's POV (the same one from chapter 2)

they make me barf, no they make me want to rip whats-her- face's lips away from his and kiss him myself, like i said, i had a plan, but it was involving her away on that trip, and him alone for a whole month, or more.

Seth's POV

I had to tell her sometime, i had held it in long enough. she had a right to know, this was mainly involving her, and it was killing me to see her and know that she deserves to know this big secret i had been holding in. This is it, after the trip they go on, i'm telling her, no matter what.
