Magic Knight Exam-Part 2

As Captian Venengance stated out the rules for the examination, I was getting ready for the test, apparently, it was flying on a broomstick, I had never flown a broomstick before.... but Captian said it is one of the easiest things to do with controlling your magic, "All right, Begin" Captian gave out the call, as soon as I heard that I sat on my broomstick and concentrated my magic into it, I was suddenly flying... maybe it's not that hard. With that I started flying around the arena, I saw Yuno was able to do it easily too.

Next was the Magic ability test, it was easy too I just emerged a large ice shard and launched it on the wall, the wall broke into crumbles by that shard. Next was a creation magic test I just made an ice sculpture in my hand in that test. The development magic test was easy too.

"The Next Exam Shall Be The Last one, you engage in Actual combat" Actual combat huh I can test out my abilities in this," You'll be battling! you will pair off and fight with your partners, you can use your Grimoires to attack. Fighting is our duty! Show us your true abilities" Captian Vermillion informed us about the last exam. 

'So the final exam is a battle huh, it will be a good test to test out my combat skills' I smiled at my thought and started to look for a partner. As I was searching for someone a guy came up to me, by his clothing style I can say he is a noble, "You there! Would you like to be my partner for the fight?"The noble asked me 'fighting a noble with a huge amount of mana would be a great test for my skills' I Just smiled and nodded at him, "But on one condition, Don't hold back just cause you think I am a peasant"He just smirked at me like a filthy low life"It would be a great honor for you to be lost by a noble" He said in a mocking tone.

My battle will be after a little while, while the noble was speaking to me Asta had already started his battle, I turned my head to him, his opponent was in some kind of a ball, the smirk on his face really show out how cocky he is, but I believe in Asta he will at least win this battle. Asta brought out his shabby Grimoire and brought out his large greatsword with a swift movement he sliced through his ball and took him down. I just smiled at the outcome of his victory, I knew Asta was going to win this.

Next was my turn I walked to the stage where the battles were taking place "It will be over in an instant" The Noble said with the ugly smug on his face ". We both walked to the center of the arena and stood at the opposite ends "Begin!"

Third-person Pov

With the judge's call, both of the contestants drew out their grimoires, The noble went first"Haha it looks like I will end this battle in an instant, Fire magic: Fire Ball of destruction! 'This will end it your pathetic ice magic won't stand a chance' The noble thought with a smug grin on his face, To this reaction Glacies created a huge and thick ice wall to block the huge ball of fire "Your pathetic ice wall won't stand a chance hurry up and accept your defeat-" He was cut off when he noticed his whole body was covered with ice except his head making him unable to move he also noticed Glacies was right beside him, "You talk too much"Glacies whispered with a cold glare fixated on the noble "You dare talk to a noble like that-" he was cut off again when a rapier made out of ice was held close to his throat "Yield.." Glacies threatened the noble, The noble was in shock how a peasant from the boonies defeated him so easily"I...Yield" With that Glacies melted away the ice and his ice rapier 

Everyone looked at Glacies with shock, how could a peasant defeat a noble that easily, even the captains were surprised, The mana to build up that huge of a wall will be in great amount also his physical abilities were great, Glacies left quite an impression on everyone and walked out without a care, everyone stared at him with awe

Glacies pov

"Glacies you were awesome out there you showed him!"Asta praised me with an Impressed look on his face "You weren't bad yourself, Asta, anyways we still have Yuno's match yet let's see what your rival can do" With that statement Asta nodded with a star in his eyes, after a few battles which were not that cool, to be honest finally it was Yuno's turn, his opponent was a cocky noble too who had lightning magic but Yuno defeated him with ease with his wind magic. 

With all the exams done now, it was finally time for the squad selection, at first, a few contestants were rejected but little by little they started getting accepted."Number #164!"Yuno's number was finally Yuno's Number, When he came forward all of the squad captains raised their hands, it was a rare sight how all of the captains wanted a kid from the boonies in their squad

"Please allow me to join the Golden Dawn" Yuno finally stated his decision, it was expected of him, next was.."Number #165" Asta's number was called out, but unfortunately, no one raised their hands.. Asta's dreams were crushed by this sight "Well, that's no surprise" Captian of the black bulls said to Asta "No matter how high your combat skills are if the source of your power is unknown no one wants anything to do with it In the end only thing desired from a magic knight is, their magical powers" With that Captain Yami released his Aura it was quite powerful of an Aura, he looked quite scary too "he got up from his seat and drop down to the stage, with the intimidating aura he went close to Asta "Becoming a wizard kings mean you have to more powerful than the nine captains Do you still want to be a wizard king now that I'm standing here"Any normal person would run away in fear how Captian Yami Released his intimidating Aura and standing in front of you like this.

"E-Even if I don't join the magic knights today, no matter how many times I fail, no matter what anyone says to me, I'm still going to become the wizard king someday!" Asta declared, Captain Yami just laughed at his speech"You are funny kid, Join my squad!" I just chuckled at Both of them, I'm just glad Asta was able to join magic knights, I was happy for both Yuno and Asta were able to join the magic knights

"Number #166!"Oh, it finally my turn, I would lie if I said I wasn't anxious at this time "Yes sir!" with that I walked up in the presence of all the nine captains, 'Be confident in yourself Glacies even if one squad chooses you, you should be happy!' I slowly open my eyes to check who raised their hands, ALL OF THE CAPTAINS RAISED THEIR HANDS! was I dreaming this couldn't be... every contestant were quite shocked too, two of the kids from the boonies were given an opportunity like this, I should choose my decision wisely now.

 "Please Allow me to join....."
