The warm weather was perfect. Bees were buzzing near the flowers in the garden, the flowers seemed to be happy to help the bees with a little nectar. The sun shone brightly, encouraging the mangoes to grow bigger and bigger, faster and faster. Aahh, summer. The universal synonym for 'vacation'.
So I was sitting at home. Who am I ? You'll come to know years later. I had just come back from a birdwatching trip, which had lightened my mood a little and gor my mind off things. But then, I saw my pebble blue Galaxy S3 beckoning to me, with that irritating notification light. Like every other person in the world, my hands automatically went and unlocked the phone, even if my brain said no. But this time I was happy I checked my phone. She had replied. Her name too, I decide to leave anonymous, let us, for the time being, refer to her as queen. At this time, I never knew I would go on to fall in love with her. Anyways, I had come to meet her in a strange manner. I came to know her only because I wanted help with another girl. She seemed friendly , caring and trustworthy , so I asked her for help. She asked me what exactly the matter was. I wanted to talk to her so I told her that I'd call her because it was too much to type. I spoke to her for the first time in my ninth standard summer holidays. Her voice was sweet, and had the perfect pitch. It felt lovely just to listen to her. But I thought she was someone I'd like to have as a friend. This call, it went on for half an hour, and I got pretty familiarised with her. That day, I went to bed a little happier than usual. Little did I know that this was the only summer vacation I would remember not for the fun I had or the places I went to, but for the person I met.
