Well you see, I'm an Indian and Indian parents are very primitive. Let me explain. Indian parents treat culture and studies with utmost priority. I'm not saying that's bad but after a point you get tired of their constant nagging. According to them, a relationship at my age (15 years) is 'against Indian culture'. They also thought that a relationship gets in the way of studies.
When they came to know about queen, they weren't really happy. My father said that as long as it does not affect my studies it was fine. But my mother on the other hand started threatening me not to get distracted at this age. I could not just leave her. Although my mum said not to, I kept talking to her secretly. Queen came to know about this and she felt hurt. I was stuck in a rather odd position. How could I choose between my mom and queen?
My mom soon started irritating me a lot. Every single evening I got a earfull about how my bad marks were brought about by my distractions. She warned me that my future would be ruined if I kept talking to 'these girls'. Even while I studied, she came to me and shouted for actually keeping my phone next to me because she thought I was always talking to queen.
This isn't what a mom should think. What many parents don't realise, is that love can be a very strong and positive force for their child. It depends on how they teach them to use it. If they fill their child's head with negative ideas about relationships, it affects them in a bad way. A child with negative ideas will do very badly in relationships and will also be struggling with everything else he or she is pursuing. If the parents teach them about love in a positive manner, the child is able to handle relationships as well as all everything he wells he is pursuing with a better mind. It also helps later in life with corporate relationships.
I knew this, and so I continued speaking to queen. I made sure I spoke to her everyday. Making a small sacrifice for her was not much for me. I was happy to do anything for her.
