Family Reunion pt. 2

Delilah POV:

"We are here!" I announce excitedly I haven't been able to drive since I'm the youngest they emphasize that . "We are alive" exclaims Sam happily. "Asshole." I reply. We get off and let's just say Eli has a big family. Everyone was very welcoming a lot knew english so that helped a lot. Everyone went their separate ways and luckily for me the first thing was the running race which wasn't for me. The only ones running were Cass, Eli, Chris and Jake. Sam went to talk about cars with Eli's uncle I think it was. And I went to change into my shorts. "Hey can you show me a place where I can change?" I ask Eli's cousin April. "Of course. Delilah right?" She asks. "Yeah that's me." I say. "Well I have heard so much about you and basketball let's see your skills." She says walking me to the house. "Here it is. See you soon" she waves bye. "Hey Delilah!" I hear someone say. I turn. "What do you want?" I say seeing Jaz in front of me. "Look we have to talk and to start off I want to apologize for being so harsh now I know I made a huge mistake. I do love you but as an annoying sister. I guess I was just mixed up." She says. "Yeah a huge mistake look it's okay. I'm sorry for being harsh too even though you deserved it." I say. "Okay okay so are we good?" She asks. "We are gucci" I say. I'm so glad that's done and over with. "See you on the court let's see if I still remember a bit of basketball skills from 8th grade" she walks away laughing. I made sure everyone was going to participate in basketball. After changing I walked out and bumped into someone. "HEY! Watch it!" I say. "Chill I'm sorry it's just me." I hear I turn and see Pablo looking down at me he caught me by the waist he stared at me for a bit . Wow he has nice eyes. "Oh what's up?" I saw awkwardly breaking the silence. "About to demolish in basketball this is my sport well besides soccer." He says laughing. "We will see about that Castillo" I say walking away. "K!" I hear from behind me.
Pablo was tall which big brown eyes and dark hair. He had a toned body and a normal tan color. He was good looking I have to say.
The race was over and eli and Jake came in first. With the others right behind . Eli had experience she races for cross country and Jake is pretty fit. So I wasn't surprised. The Sid their small ceremony. "Ma ma?" I hear a small voice. I look down and a small boy was looking up he was not as tan and had green eyes he was so adorable . "Well hello there aren't you a cutie.?" I say picking him up. "Gabe! What are you doing? Come here!" Pablo says running towards us. "Sorry that's gabe my baby cousin." He says taking gabe. "Pa pa!" Little gabe says. "He calls be pa pa since he can't say Pablo." Pablo reassures me. "He is so cute." I say making faces. "Hey I see you met gabe." I hear eli say as she approaches us with Jake holding her close. "Yeah he is cute." I say. "You two look like parents" Jake laughs. "Your insane. Now come on so I can beat you at this game your height won't help you here." I say back. "Your on!" Jake says running towards the court. "Come on Pablo!" I say grabbing his hand .
"It's time for the basketball match. So here's the thing Pablo, Jake, Sam, Pollo, Lalo, and Chris are captains and will pick their teams. There will be teams of 3 . First team to score 10 points will continue in the tournament. Let's play!" Eli's uncle, Rafa announces. Jakes team ended up being Jake, Eli, and April, Pablo's was him, Abigail, and Gabby, Sams was me And Cass, Pollos was Pita and other relative I haven't met yet. The first teams up were Pablo's and Sams. "Hey Delilah you ready for this?" Pablo says eyeing me. "Oh yeah." I said. He made sure to cover me well.
After about an hour. The last teams left were Pablo's and Sams again. "We meet again." I say looking at Pablo. "Oh yeah I won't go easy on you this time. " he says back. We ended up winning by an amazing three pointer I made. Rafa had medals for us. Afterwards I went for a drink while the others went to set up for the soccer game. "Hey nice shot I have to say you are good." I hear Pablo come up behind me. "Good? Better than you for sure." I say nudging him. "Okay sure." He starts to tickle me and I slip. He falls on top. Everything becomes silent as he stares at me. I couldn't move . He was so stunning . Before I know it he kisses me. And time stops.
