Vacation With the Gods

Chapter 3

We were talking and laughing on the way to the airport with the windows rolled down.

Suddenly Leo yelled, "Hey look, a bee!! Let's pet it!!"

Everyone laughed but I could feel myself go a little pale, but no one noticed it thankfully.

Yes, I have a major fear of bees, laugh all you want.

It came closer to us, and Leo went up and swatted it my direction.

I screamed, jumped up, and started yelling things like, "Kill it, kill it!!" And "Get it away!!"

They were shocked at first, but then started laughing, while I was still running away from the bee going crazy in the car.

"You're afraid of bees, Percy?" Thalia asked mockingly while still laughing.

"You're afraid of heights, Thalia?" I shot back, while maneuvering myself into the spot where we put our luggage up in the front.

It was a self driving car, which was cool.

That comment shut her up, which made everyone else laugh harder.

Once they shut up, they all looked at me in amusement.

"Are you going to come out of there?" My dad asked me.

"Nope." I said, popping the p.

They chuckled and shook their heads.

After a few minutes, Athena asked us "So, what are you kids going to do for a job?"

We looked at her like she was crazy but Austin replied happily saying he was going to be an architect.

Athena beamed at him.

"What about the rest of you?" She asked while gesturing to us with her hands.

Half of us didn't know what they were going to do, and then it got down to me.

Athena had grown to tolerate me, but she still thought I was as stupid as my dad was.

"What about you, Sea Spawn, do you even know what a college is?" She asked me mockingly.

I rolled my eyes and without missing a beat said, "Actually, yes I do, and I've already been invited to three of them for your information."

They were shocked to say the least, while me and my dad were smiling smugly.

"Which ones and for what?" She managed out.

"New York College for Astrophysics, New Rome College for Neuroscience, and New Rome College for Marine Biology." I stated proudly.

Athena was dumbfounded, while dad smiled proudly at the last one.

"We'll just have to see if you can manage to not get kicked out of this one." Piper said jokingly and I groaned.

"How many schools have you been kicked out of, just out of curiosity?" Apollo asked.

I counted on my fingers until I reached the right number.

"Around seven times I think." I said cheerfully.

Some looked shocked, Athena, while others looked proud, The Stolls.

There was a moment of silence before Jason pulled out a drachma and said, "O, Iris Goddess of the Rainbow please accept my offering, show me how Percy Jackson got expelled from her schools."

I gulped when an image of an eight year old Percy stood next to a cannon.

Iris Message:

Percy looked at the cannon with an awestruck look on my face.

The rest of the class was listening to the tour guide teach about the history of a war that happened here at one point in time.

Percy stepped forward and saw that the cannon was pointing at the school bus that they had arrived in.

She ran her hand along the side of it.

When she reached the end of it, she noticed the piece of rope attached to it.

Percy pulled the rope back and a cannon ball came barreling out of the other end of the cannon.

It went directly towards the school bus and hit the gasoline carrier.

The bus erupted into flames, and started showering the students with flaming confetti-like pieces of melting metal.

The scene faded into the next clip.

10 minutes later

We watched around seven times that I got expelled.

Half of the gods and demigods were shocked while the others were dying of laughter.

We still had about an hour left of the drive until we got to the airport, so we were all just chilling and chatting after that.

Not soon after I felt my eyes getting droopy and I slipped in the realm of Morpheus.

Sorry for that long break, but this is hard!
