But yeah I hope you enjoy chapter 4.
Chloe's POV☯
At the airport Wesley couldn't have been more fussy. He was being so moody. He is usually never like this. Kelly, Wesley and I were flying out to California while we hired movers to drive trucks full of our stuff too the new house 5 days earlier. Matthew told me it was right on the beach and perfect. Good thing I make him watch house hunters. Therefore I kinda trusted him with this whole thing. I heard a woman announce that our plane was ready for boarding.
I scooped up my son and my carry on and headed to the gate. On the plane I sat with Wesley on my lap because he was little enough. I was sitting in a window seat. I was sitting next to a woman that looked about the same age as me. In the aisle was an older man.
Wesley feel asleep about 10 minutes into the flight. I was talking to the lady next to me. She was a actress and her name was Vanessa. She was flying back to LA to buy a house. It turns out she was only about a year older than me. She was Matthews age.
When we landed, I got off the plane. I waited for Kelly in the airport before going to baggage claim.
"Was Wesley good? I didn't hear any crying so that's good."
"Oh yeah he was fine. He was sleeping" I responded.
We stopped at the Starbucks in LAX and then went outside to wait for Matthew. He said he was on his way. We waited for about 5 minutes before he pulled in in our Toyota Highlander.
"Hi babe!" I said pratically running to him.
"Hi Chloe." He said.
Good thing Kelly was holding Wesley because damn.
Matthews lips crashed on to mine. I cupped his face and he latched his hands around my waist.
I didn't even care who was watching.
I missed him.
I started to load the minimal luggage we had into the car while Matthew grabbed Wesley.
"Hi little man!" He said giving him a raspberry on his chubby little stomach.
We strapped him into his car seat and pulled out of the airport.
"So on a scale of 1-10, how nice is it?" I asked.
"Well what is a 10?"
"Ummmm well ok the apartment in Chicago was like a 6" I said.
"Well I'd rate this an 100"
Then he winked at me and looked back at the road.
I loved looking out the window and seeing the ocean. I had my hand out the window feeling the salty air.
Even though I grew up in Virginia, California felt like home.
We were driving past gorgeous houses. They all looked way out of our price range. Ours was probably going to be farther down the beach.
All of a sudden Matthew pulled into the driveway of an absolutly stunning house.
"Wait did you take a wrong turn..?" I said baffled by the house.
