KURT'S POV
I woke up with a headache this morning. I must have fallen asleep after working overnight. I couldn't remember anything from last night. All i know was that, i worked all night. That's all. I couldn't remember going to my bedroom in the office. Maybe i was very tired.
I came home after i woke up and i saw Scarlet sleeping peacefully in our living room. I saw our yayas too awkwardly smiling. Maybe they wouldn't want to wake her up. Scared of her.
So i came closer and woke her up.
Damn cute, my wife!
We talked and she got mad at me for not texting her yesterday. Hmm, Ako dapat yung mad eh. She was with Kevin yesterday. Naunahan niya nanaman ako. And she said something about answering her calls and heard moaning? Nah. I don't remember answering her calls. I was asleep all night. Maybe, she's just dreaming? I don't know. I swear i never answered her calls.
So we are now here at our dining room. Eating our breakfast.
"So how's your time with Kevin?" I asked while chewing.
"Just fine. We just had a coffee together, talked about lives, and then he hatid me here at home." Chill na sabi niya.
I sighed. I should not start a fight right now. Morning na morning, at masakit ang ulo ko.
"Babe, i cannot go to work today. Can you go there for me?" tanong ko.
"Yeah sure. Why pala? Are you sick babe?" Alalang tanong niya. I smiled sweetly and nodded. Hehe.
"I had too much wine from last night i think." I said while drinking coffee.
"Okay. I'll just drop there and then go home." She said. Yes! Though, i wouldn't want her to work. It should be me. But it's her specialty too. Mas magaling nga siya sakin pagdating sa paperworks. Mas mabilis.
We heard heavy footsteps sa stairs. And i sighed when i saw Purple walking down the stairs. Ang ingay ng footsteps niya dahil sa malalaking high heels nito.
"Good morning, baby!" Scarlet said to our daughter. My daughter is 13 years old already. And yeah, she's got my wife's attitude. All she got from me is ayaw niya ng maingay. She wants to study alone in a quiet place. But she is very loud when she's happy or mad! Don't know!
"Good morning, mommy! Good morning, daddy!" She shouted ng makababa siya ng stairs and came toward us. She kissed us both on the cheeks.
I covered my nose and looked at her in disbelief. "Purple, i told you no strong perfumes during breakfast! For God's sake nahahaluan ang pagkain ng pabango mo!" Pangaral ko.
She just rolled her eyes on me. "Tsh. Anyways daddy bakit wala ka last night?!" Masungit na tanong nito atsaka umupo sa upuan niya at nagsimulang kumain.
"I worked overnight." I said and put the tocinos, bacons, steak near her plate.
"Ok! Lagot ka kay mommy! She slept there at the couch waiting for you!"
"It's okay, baby! I already talked to your dad." Sabat naman ni scarlet. "Here. Eat some fruits too." Scarlet put some fruits on her plate.
"Sooo.. daddy! Can you hatid me to school today?" Purple asked while chewing some fruits.
Tapos na kami kumain ni Scarlet at pinapanuod nalang namin kumain si Purple.
"He can't. Your daddy is sick. Ako nalang, i will hatid you there. Ok? Eat fast kasi late ka na." Scarlet said and face me. Ayaw na ayaw kasing magpahatid ni purple sa mga drives namin or guards. She likes either me or scarlet only.
"You, mister." Sabi ni scarlet.
"Huh?" I asked.
"Go to bed and get some rest." Utos niya.
"Yes, my wife. I love you." I said. I stood up and kissed her lips.
"Argh! Please dad! I'm eating oh!" nandidiring sabi ni purple.
"Hahahaha!" - scarlet
"Late ka na. Why did you come down just now ba?" Suway ko sakanya.
"E-eh, it took me a long time finding the right clothes for me, dad! I need to have a good matching outfit everyday! Right mom?"
"Hahaha! Yeah right! Now, finish your food and let's go."
I shooked in disbelief. Like mother like daughter. I cannot win against them. We bid goodbyes to each other and i went up to our room. After i sleep, baka wala na akong headache.
