PERCY

Well that was weird.

After the council was dismissed I wanted to test out my new wings so my being the Kelp Head I am jumped of the Empire State building with out actually knowing how to shift into my eagle form. I slowly felt myself shifting into and eagle and I could feel the wings tearing out from my back. The pain was agonizing but it left as quick as it came.

I flew over New York and admired the city itself with out having to defend myself or end a war.

As I was in Pennsylvania when I noticed a little girl who was probably a demigod, being chased by my old buddy, the Minotaur. I swoop down to defend them and when I reach the ground I shift into my normal form and battle of BeefHead.

"Hey BeefHead, over here!"

He turns to charge at me but when he reaches me I just stab Riptide into his gut.

"Now stay dead" I mumble to no one in particular.

I turn to look at the the little girl who has a terrified expression on her face and dirty clothes, she looked about 7 years old if I do say so myself.

"Hey, It's all right. Everything's going to be okay. My names Percy, what's yours?" I say hoping to calm her down a little bit.
"Emma" She mumbles so quite I could barely hear her.
"Ok Em-" I was interrupted by a man about 40 years old yelling her name who looked drunk. Emma hid behind my leg and clung onto it like her life depended on it.
"Hello sir, If you could be as so kind to leave." I say through gritted teeth troubling to control my anger. He was probably what she was running from, before the Minotaur of course.
"N-no" he slurred clearly drunk as he stumbled closer towards us. Emma tightened her grip on my calve as he got closer.
Before Emma could rip open my calf I punched the man in the stomach and he fell on the ground, unconscious.

Emma immedialty jumped up into my arms as I turned to face her.
"F-fank you" I tucked a hair behind her ear as said calming soothing words hoping she could trust me. After a few minutes I set her down and we just sat in the alley until I broke the ice."Who was he?" I try for a soothing voice.
"My uncew"
"Was he bad?"
"Ya"
"Well if you want I can take you to a place where you will find new sisters and have lots of fun!" She turned to look at me and her face cracked into a smile.
"Weally?"
"Mhm"
"Ya!" She pounces herself onto my back and gestures her to take my there.
I chuckle and commence the walk to camp.

When we near the camp, Emma lights up a conversation.
"Pewcy, can you be my bwover?"
I was a little tacken back by her question but I was extatic to have a little sister.
"Definitely" Was my response with a ginormous grin.

As we arrived at the camp Artemis was already explaining about my arrival at camp but when they saw me behind the trees they all held up their bows with their arrows up notched ready to shoot. Emma got startled and fell of my shoulders but before she could come in contact with the ground I swiftly turned around and picked her up and placed her in front of me.

"What are you doing here boy." Phoebe said boy with so much negativity that her voice was like a growl. Before I could respond Artemis herself responded.

"He is the Gaurdian I was speaking of." She replies calmly.
"Percyyy!" I hear and the next thing, I'm on the ground with a spiky ball of hair on top of me.
"Hey Thals" I see Artemis glare at us so Thalia immediately jumps of me and returns to her previous place.

"So... This is Emma, I found her on my way here being attacked by a Minotaur and then her drunk uncle showed up." Emma just nodded and turned to hug my leg.
"He is my bwover" She exclaims proudly and I just beam proudly before all the hunters who had look of astonishment and anger towards her story of her drunk uncle but Phoebe was probably raging at me because of the little girl clinging to me.

It is awkwardly silent until Artemis cleared her throat.
"Well, Hi Emma. I'm Lady Artemis and you wanted to become part of the Hunt?"
She looks at me and I just nod in reassurance. "Yes Wady Awtemis."
Artemis nods in acknowledgement and holds out her hand. Once again Emma looks at me and I reassure her.
"Don't worry she is gonnna take you to her tent to complete your huntress thing."
The hunt glares at me while Thalia is stifling laughs.

"What?"
"ITS NOT A "HUNTRESS THING" boy." And you can of course guess who said that. If you said Phoebe you are correct!

Artemis saves me by leading Emma to her tent and telling me to come so she could inform me of my duties. Yay (note the sarcasm).

"Don't try anything with her boy". Once again, Phoebe. I put my hands in surrender showing that I come in peace.

ARTEMIS

When I saw Thalia hugging Percy I felt something in my heart but hoped it wasn't jealousy for I am a maiden for Hades sake!

I enter my tent, Percy and Emma behind me and I apparat some seats and motion for them to sit. I tell Emma to respect after me in order to complete the huntress oath and she does. With that I give Percy his schedule and observe his face of any reaction. I expected him to flip out and complain about all the chores proving he is just like all other men but he didn't and he left Emma following, to start his chores leaving me shell shocked. If any other men had his schedule they would flip out!
