Marinette parents look up to see who entered the room and they saw a shocked marinette standing there dead in tracks . They share a nervous glances with each other and say in unison " Surprise ? ". It came out of their mouths more like a question than sentence. There was a awkward silence .
Marinette's POV
When I was standing at the door like statue my parents shared nervous glances and said Surprise with a questioning tone . I was so mad at them for not telling me they were coming but then I forgive them and engulfed in a warm embrace. It was a pleasant gift for the first day in Paris ...
