The doors opened to the grand ballroom where everyone was amazed at the sight of it. It was gold everywhere as they all shuffled in, talking amongst themselves as each castle staff gave them a glass of wine when they walked in. The band played lively music to help better the atmosphere in it.
As everyone settled in, Ein couldn't help but frown as he looked around to see a familiar face, Aaron, to say the least. "I really hope he's not dead" He muttered as he crossed his arms.
"Hello again, my Prince~" A familiar voice purred as Ein looked to see who it was, the orange hair was a dead giveaway. Ein nodded in acknowledgement to Prince Kai who frowned and grabbed ahold of his hand and pressed a small kiss ontop of it. "It's been forever since I last saw you"
"It has" Ein said, he looked around the room again and sighed, Kai noticed and looked over his shoulder, arching a brow.
"Are you looking for someone?" Ein nodded
"Yes, but, would you like to dance with me in the meantime? I want to still remember our dance lessons" Ein looked away with a small blush, Kai grinned and grabbed Ein's hands, pulling him close as he placed one hand on Ein's shoulder and one on his waist. The two looked at each other, Ein smiled as Kai took the first step and the two began to dance. The two were in their own world, forgetting all the troubles and people around them, unaware that a man in a red mask was watching them.
"I thought of something" Kai started, he looked at Ein who nodded for him to continue, Kai brought Ein close to him, Ein's breath hitched as Kai caressed his face with his thumb, sending shivers down Ein's spine, Kai grinned as his amber colored eyes shone mischievously from behind his mask.
"And what would that be?" Ein questioned, face red as he calmed himself. He gulped as the meifwa continued his teasing, he scowled as he knew what the other was planning, Kai opened his mouth to say what he thought when someone stepped up beside them.
"Sorry for intruding but may I take Prince Ein for a dance?"
Kai nodded, "Of course" He eyed Ein up and down before winking and leaving the two alone, Ein sighed as he faced the stranger who grabbed ahold of his hand and pulled him to the center of the room where he placed his hand on Ein's shoulder and waist.
The two waltzed around, Ein chuckling as he was spun around before being dipped and was brought back up, His heart was beating for the man he didn't know. His face flushed as he stared at him.
"Before the night ends, I just want to know who you are underneath that mask, with your permission, may I remove it?"
The masked man nodded as Ein smiled. He stood in front of him as he lifted the mask up, eyes widening.
"Aaron? I thought you were-"
Aaron sighed as he stopped Ein from continuing, "I didn't kill the dragon because it was a mother and it had eggs but, I thought this would be more romantic, dancing and stuff to get you to love me"
Ein's chest tightened as his hands cupped Aaron's face, the other arched a brow before his eyes widened as his lips were captured in a small kiss from Ein's, Ein pulled away before saying the one thing that Aaron waited to hear all night.
"You fool, I do love you" Ein giggled as Aaron kissed him, the two spun each other, lost in their own world, not knowing that Kai had watched the whole thing. His amber eyes darkened as he scowled, he turned and disappeared into the crowd.
