Part 3

(Sophia's p.o.v.)

I had agreed to Niklaus helping me carry my kids inside so we grabbed the car seats, diaper bag, and my purse. Then we went inside with Damien and Stefanie right by my side. Once we were inside we went to a booth and he put April and Avery on one side and I sat next to them.

Stefanie: Mamma can I sit next to you?

Sophia: Sure baby, would you mind having a baby next to you?

Niklaus: Not at all.

With that said we all sat down. Niklaus, Damien, and Abby were on one side of the booth and April, Avery, Stefanie, and I sat on the other side of the booth. Once we were all set and ready to order we told the waitress our order for our food then when the waitress walked away Niklaus said...

Niklaus: Now that we are settled, what are your kids names?

Sophia: Well the oldest is Damien and he's three. Then the second oldest is Stefanie and she's two. Then we have the triplets. The oldest triplet is Abigail, the middle triplet is April, and the youngest triplet is Avery. And the the triplets are 10 months old.

Niklaus: Wow you must be really busy.

Sophia: Yeah is can be hard sometimes but most of the time I have one of my brothers to help me. But they were busy today.

Niklaus: Oh. Anyways how did you know my name?

Sophia: I don't feel like lying to you so I'm not going to. Plus I know what your capable of.

Niklaus: What is it that I'm capable of exactly?

Sophia: Well your capable of a lot. I mean your the original hybrid and you'll do anything too get what you want, so I prefer to be on your good side and not your bad. 

Niklaus: Fair enough.

Sophia: Well anyways, this is going to sound weird but, I've had dreams about you. And that's how I knew your name.

Niklaus: Would it still be weird if I said that I've had dreams about you too?

Sophia: Wait you have dreamed about me too?

Oh dear, I might actually be right. We might actually be soulmates. How in the world is this happening right now? I thought only werewolves can be soulmates. Again my thoughts were interrupted by Niklaus saying something.

Niklaus: Yea, why do you seem so scared?

Sophia: I'm not scared. Anyway how old were you when you started having the dreams?

Niklaus: Umm ever since I was a little boy, why?

Sophia: Okay when was the last time you had a dream?

Niklaus: About a month ago, why?

Sophia: Okay how do I say this?

Before I could say that we were soulmates Avery started crying. And Stefanie said...

Stefanie: Mommy I got to potty.

I picked up Avery and said...

Sophia: Can you wait a couple minutes?

Stefanie: I no fink so.

Sophia: And its times like this that being a single mom of five kids, all under the age of four, is really hard.

Niklaus: Here let me help.

Sophia: No I couldn't ask you to do that.

Niklaus: I'm not asking, love.

Sophia: Okay fine. I have to take Stefanie to the bathroom and Avery needs her diaper changed, so can you stay here with Damien, April, and Abby? While I take Avery and Stefanie to the bathroom?

Niklaus: Yea.

Sophia: Thank you, Niklaus.

Niklaus: Oh please call me Nik.

Sophia: Alright, Nik.

With that I grabbed Stefanie's hand and since I already had Avery in my arms I walked to the bathroom, and let Stefanie go to the bathroom while I changed Avery's diaper. When we were done in the bathroom I walked back to the table with Avery and Stefanie both in my arms. Once we got back to our table I saw Nik holding April. And Abby sleeping in her car seat.

Sophia: I didn't know you were good with kids.

Niklaus: Sorry I hope you don't mind me holding her.

Sophia: I don't mind.

We all sat back down in our spots and finished eating our food. Once we were done eating I ask Nik.

Sophia: Have you ever heard of a bond called soulmates?

Niklaus: Yeah. Its when two people are meant for each other, but its very rare and only happens with supernatural creatures. Why do you ask?

But before I could reply Stefanie tugged on my shirt and said...

Stefanie: Mommy I think you have to dumb it down a bit for him.

Sophia: Stefanie Elizabeth Salvatore! Are you trying to get me in trouble?

But I guess Nik didn't take any offense to it as he started to chuckle saying...

Niklaus: Wow she must be quite the handful.

Sophia: Yes anyways what I was saying is that if I'm correct we are soulmates. I still have to do a spell to double check, but with all I've heard and seen in my life. We are soulmates.

Niklaus: Really?

Sophia: Like I said, I still have to do a spell to make sure, but yes I'm pretty sure that we're soulmates.

Niklaus: Wow that's surprising.

Sophia: Yea it is.

Niklaus: Hey, Can I ask you something?

Sophia: Sure.

Niklaus: Why did you trust me so easily with you kids? I mean I could have taken them, hurt them, I could've done anything to them and yet you still let me stay with them when you weren't there.

Sophia: A thing about the soulmate bond is that we wont want to hurt each other in any way. And in this case since my kids are my blood you wont want to hurt them either. You'll only protect us. So I knew you wouldn't do anything to them.

Niklaus: What else comes with the bond?

Sophia: Well if I die you will live the rest of your life in pain. And if you do happen to die, which you wont, then I will live the rest of my life in pain. And we cant be far away from each other for a long period of time or we'll get this pain in our heads. We'll always want to be close to each other. We have to stay by each other's side even if we don't want to or we don't agree with the other person. We trust each other instantly. Just like when I trusted you with my kids so easily. And I think that's all I know about the soulmate bond.

Niklaus: Wow, that's a lot. And may I ask how you know all of that?

Sophia: When you've been around for awhile you pick up on a few things. Besides one of my old friends had a soulmate and told me all about it. Ever since then I thought it would be kind of cool to have a soulmate. I just didn't think I would actually have one.

Niklaus: Well looks like you finally found your soulmate.

Sophia: Yea, I guess I did. Well I have some errands to run so I've got to go.

Niklaus: Well why don't I come with you? I could get to know you and the kids better?

Sophia: Um sure, why not?...
