the arabs dance at the sight of the sea

the thoroughbreds gallop around with glee

the warmbloods jump as high as a house

the little school pony as quiet as a mouse

the strong hack horse standing tall and proud

the elegant show ponies trot without touching the ground

the tiny little shetland nibbles his hay

the new foal born in may

the yearling colts play til night

the palomino mustang gleams in the sunlight

the fat lazy mare who everyone loves

the naughty young horse who eats gloves

the old horse out to pasture

the little welsh pony who won't let you catch her

the wild exmoors travel around

the little dartmoor ponies who only cost a pound

the black stallion snorts at the mares

the pony who spooks at bikes but who cares

we love our ponies like you wouldn't believe

and we hope they never have to leave
