chapter 10

they spent the rest of the night in his room.
they both fell asleep around 2 am.

the next morning they woke up at 11am.
they were being bums all day.
they kinda just hung around until 7pm when reya said...

"hey i'm gonna go home. i haven't seen my mom much and haven't seen john in a few days. but i'll see you at school tomorrow?"
(john is her step dad)

"uh yeah,do you want me to pick you up?"

"no it's okay,you don't have to.  bye love you"
"love you more"
she smiled and walked out of his bedroom.

she went downstairs and grabbed her keys off of the kitchen counter and walked to her car

she drove home with out any music on.
it was silent.

when she got home she visited with her mom and stepdad in the living room

she got a text from noah

noah flynn 💜-get home okay?

she looked at it and put her phone down without answering.

she laid on the couch in between her mom and step dad and they all just talked about their weeks.

reya told them how cheerleading was going and how school was going. she told them how her and ayden are officially broken up.

her mom was glad to hear that. and so was her her step dad. neither of them were too fond of ayden. they didn't know about the abuse. but they knew about the cheating and the way he made reya feel.

once they finished up talking she said goodnight to them both and went upstairs.

she took a shower.
when she was done her shower she got into some shorts and one of noah's t-shirts.

she grabbed her phone out of the bathroom and looked at it.

noah texted her again

noah flynn 💜-you good?
"fuck" she whispered to herself as she realized she never answered his text from an hour ago.
reya richards💜-yeah i'm good. see u tomorrow. love u
noah flynn 💜-love you more

she put her phone down and got into her bed.
her soft sheets laid against her freshly shaved legs.

she turned her tv on and began to watch riverdale. she's already seen all the episodes multiple times. she just rewatched them a lot.

she ended up falling asleep.
she woke up the next morning to her alarm on her phone going off.

she groaned as she realized it was monday and she had school.

she shut the alarm off and got out of her bed.
she quickly fixed up her bed and shut off her tv that she left on last night.

she went in her bathroom to wash her face and brush her teeth.

she straightened her long hair. it was naturally a light brown color but she has been getting blonde highlights since she was 14.

she did her makeup. which her school makeup routine was pretty easy. tinted moisturizer,setting powder,bronzer,highlighter,some mascara,and a pink lip gloss.

her eyelashes are really long and pretty. her skin is super clear and glowy. her nose is perfect. her eyes are beautiful. everything about her was perfect. but she didn't necessarily feel that way. and she never let her looks control her. she didn't think she was better than any of the other girls just because she got the most attention from guys. she never cared that she was so pretty. that's what noah admired most about her. she wasn't cocky. she wasn't full of herself. she was just a sweet girl with a pretty face.
