The moon shone it's silver light on the tiny house that sat on the hillock. It was surrounded by the great wilderness of Yellowstone National Park. The hillock could be seen clearly; there was enough light. But when one entered the woods, it was pitch black.

Anne and Richard were alone in the house. The bedroom light was the only light for miles around. The two siblings had found something on their computer...something that sent chills down their spines. 'BANG'. A loud crashing sound made them jump out of their skin. They turned behind and realised it was just a bat which rammed into their window. They turned their attention back to the computer. It was opened to a website on classified documents. Russia,1968. 345 children are kidnapped over the course of 3 weeks. There's total havoc in the country, with everyone trying to save their children. The police was trying their best to contr the situation but was unlike anything they had ever seen. Never had they come across a suspect so strange, so terrifying. They had the same description from all the witnesses. It was a very tall man about 8 feet or so. It was extremely thin. It always seemed to wear a suit. A black suit, a white shirt, and a tie. A blood red tie. As his picture materialised in front of Anna and Richard, they felt there was nothing strange about him. But when they saw the face, they were shocked. Absolutely black, it was a kind of void. There were no facial features. It justed seemed like a twisted, evil, vortex of black. His back too, was different. There were huge spider legs coming out of his spinal chord. It seemed he could walk on those. Although Anne kept staring at the screen, Richard dismissed the idea of a creature like this and started fiddling with his night vision binoculars. He went to the window and looked out. The binoculars fell to the floor. He immediately called Anne to verify if his worst nightmare was coming true. When she looked out of the window, her heart started beating so fast it started paining. It was right in front of them. They could see those long legs clambering down the hill opposite their house. Turning off the light, they ran out of their house. They had a small treehouse in the forest. They ran as fast ad their small legs could carry them. They reached the treehouse. In darkness, they waited. Suddenly, footsteps. Cautiously peering out of the window, Richard saw a bear. But then, he sae it too. Slowly materialising of the darkness, it came. The bear, obviously terrified, attacked him. Richard was too scared to watch. He went back into hiding. They heard a few thuds, and then a loud 'SQUISH'. Richard looked out agian. He immediately retracted. He had just seen the bear lying in a pool of its own blood, with a huge hole near it's head.

An hour passed. Two. Three. Anne finally looked around. There was nothing around. Just a vast emptiness, with the silhouettes of trees giving a very eerie feeling. Anne descended first. Richard followed. When he got down, he looked around. Something was terribly wrong. Anne was nowhere. Terrified, Richard stuck his back to the tree and closed his eyes. He heard the footsteps. He opened his eyes. He tried to run, but then he saw his face. Suddenly he was surrounded by the void. There was nowhere to run. Then he appeared. Right in front of Richard. Holding Anne's body by his fingers in her eye sockets. Richard screamed. He saw the other hand slowly going towards his eyes. A piercing feeling. Then darkness. The slenderman silently disappeared into the night, carrying the two bodies along. The next morning the two trails of blood were found, but he trails seemed to disappear at the top of the mountain. Some say, if you go and stand on top of the hill you'll find yourself too enveloped in a void. Then you'll feel a piercing feeling. You'll be freed from the void then, but you won't be able to understand. Because your eyes won't be there anymore.
