"Can someone please explain what were doing in these mountains?" Oddball asked as he and Siva Squadron were patrolling a mountain in an active war zone.

"Captain Dolion decided to scout ahead for the escort mission were going to be apart of tomorrow." Gibbon said looking around.

"But why?"

"You guys see that road over there?" Dolion asked stopping there conversation.

"Yes sir!" The three said in unison.

"From what I heard from our boys is that path is called Sam's doom. Any convoy we've had or patrol that goes through that path is attacked and we always lose resources because of it which is why we came here I've study every inch of this god forsaken land to give our forces the upper hand... Siva formation Alpha Zero Three Hundred now!" Dolion said grabbing his rifle as Oddball and Zanto opened up advance shields that looked like hardlight shields from a famous fps game.

"Captain was right on the money." Gibbon said marking the targets that shot at them being deflected by the shields.

"Isn't he always, you guys have the targets?" Oddball said planting their feet while Dolion and Gibbon pointed their ACR dmrs at the enemy.

"Gibbon leave one of them injured."

"Yes sir." The two shot in sync waiting each shot for their enemy to pop their heads up claiming their lives easily.

"I think that's the last of them... I killed eight Gibbon what about you?"

"Five KIAs I think the one I left alive is right there I think I saw my bullet hit his shoulder."

"Ok. Oddball keep the heartbeat scanner active and notify me if more than one unknown IFF pops up. Zanto watch our rear with Gibbon I'll lead ahead."

"Yes sir." The three said in unison following the formation Dolion ordered as they went to inspect each body finally finding the last insurgent bleeding holding her arm.

"Hello there miss funny how you came across those wounds huh we can tend to them if you tell us where your hide out is." Dolion said in English slowly as the others had their backs turned on high alert.

"It seems to be clear... Hey Gibbon over here don't watch Dolion as he's interrogating." Oddball said while he and Zanto sat him next to them as they watched the road they'll be on the next day in enjoying the dark blue night with the full moon above and ignoring the sounds of a woman screaming.

"Isn't the captain breaking the rules guys?" Gibbon asked the two only for them to remain quiet.

"We'd have to interrogate we anyways, besides unlike the rest of us... He doesn't hesitate with anyone even if its a child." Zanto said as the screams came to a stop.

"Wait what do you mean?"

"Captain Dolion doesn't play with the lives of those around him... There's rumors that one of his old teammates was killed by a woman who faked looking for Refuge. Dolion has always been the cautious type since we've meet him. And the number of times he'd saved us from tough situations has been insane."

"You know how we have rules of engagement?"
