Busy lahat sa headquarters ng I.I.A. (International Intelligence Association). It’san undercover agency that takes request from different kind of government and non-government organization. They have the latest gadgets and well trained agent. But they have one agent that has been pain in the neck by the general of the I.I.A. He was one of the best agentsthey ever had. Pero dahil sa kagalingan niya at dun sa special ability na taglay niya. Naging sakit din siya ng ulo.
Siya si Insane Vincent“The Mercenary”. 12 years old siya nun ng kinuha siya ng agency. After 8 years, isa na siyang ganap na agent sa I.I.A. Kaya lang dahil na din sa kayabangan. Nag quit na siya sa agency at kumuha ng ilang mahahalagang gamit sa agency na walang paalam. Naging sakit siya ng ulo.
“Lahat ba ng bagong ship naka secured na?” tanong ni Gen. Nick.
“Yes sir. Imposibleng makapasok na s-“pero bago pa matapos ni Agent Ryan yung sasabihin niya nag alarm ang buong paligid ng head quarters.
“Akala ko ba Imposibleng makapasok?” dumiretso si Gen. Nick sa shipment department. At dun niya nakita ang agent niyang si Vincent or a.k.a the Insane Vincent. Isa siyang unmerciful killer. Madaming natatakot sa kanya. Matinik din siya pagdating sa pagkuha ng information tungkol sa mga mayayamang tao. By the time na dumating lahat ng guards at si Gen. Nick, nakita na nila na naka alis na ang isa sa bago at hi tech nilang aircraft. Hinampas ni Nick si Ryan ng hawak nitong folder. Bumalik si Gen. Nick sa kanyang office. Minasahe niya yung ulo niya ng biglang dumating ang hot niyang secretary na si Ms. Lavender
“Sir someone’s at the phone. He said it’s really important that he needs to talk to you.”
“Who is it?”
“He said his name is, Spade.” Tumigil sa pagmamasahe ng ulo si Gen. Nick at umupo ng maayos.
“Get him in the line.” Lavender nods and went outside. Maya-maya pa may narinig si Gen. Nick na boses ng matagal na niyang gustong marinig.
*BEEP*
“Nick.” Sabi ng isang seryosong boses sa kabilang linya.
“Spade, it’s been a while. How are you?”
“I need your help.” Nagulat si Gen. Nick sa sinabi nito. Kilala niya si Spade bilang isang independent at ma pride na tao. He never ask for help. He always finds a way for his problem. Kaya nga sobrang gulat na lang nito ng bigla itong manghingi ng tulong.
“Is it that serious for-“
“I go straight to the point.” Tahimik lang si Nick na nakikinig.
“I need you to give me the best bodyguard that you have.” Tumaas naman yung kilay ni Nick.
“And why? I just can’t give you my best men if you have no reasonable reason.”
He heard a deep sigh.
“I-it’s for my daughter.” Nagulat si Nick. Kilala niya ang anak ni Spade, isang mabait and napaka innocent na babae na nakilala niya. Mahinhin at talagang di mo maiwasan na di mapatingin dito dahil sa taglay niyang kagandahan.
“I need to protect her Nick. She’s all I have….please.” that’s the cue line para mapapayag si Nick. He knew how much Spade loves his daughter and he will do everything just to protect her.
“Be here at 3pm today. I’ll give you the profiles of our agents.”
“Ok.”
Toot-toot-toot
Samantala….
Sa isang bahay ampunan, busy ang mga bata sa pakikinig sa kay Aveline,
“At lahat ng mga bata nag sayaw… masaya silang lahat dahil wala ng sakit yung fairy god mother nila. The End.”
“Ate isa pa po.” Paki usap ng isang bata na malapit sa kanya.
“Oo nga ate. Isa sa pa please.” Na ccutetan siya sa mga bata na nakapaligid sa kanya.
“Sorry kids, pero ate Aveline have to go. Babalik naman si ate eh. Promise. Magdadala ako ng toys and chocolates sa inyo ok?” naghiyawan naman yung mga bata.
“Thank you po Ms. Aveline. Tuwang tuwa po talaga yung mga bata pag nandito kayo lagi.”
“Wala po yun. Gusto ko po kasi silang makitang masaya.” Nag pa alam na siya sa mga bata at Sumakay na sa kotse.
“Miss Aveline, pinapapunta po kayo ni sir sa Empire building.”
“Bakit daw po?”
“Wala pong sinabi samin.”
Tumango na lang siya. Nakatingin siya sa labas, pinag mamasdam ang paligid niya.
Sa kabilang dako naman. Kaka iba ang mundong ginagalawan ng Insane Vincent.
Magulo, maingay, walang kapayapaan sa mundong ginagalawan niya. Binaba niya yung bagong air craft na ninakaw niya sa dati niyang agency. May pinindot siyang buton para sumara yung bubong ng garahe niya. Sumipol sipol siyang pumasok sa bahay niya. Sinipa niya yung mga kalat na nasa sahig at hinagis niya yung bag niya sa couch niyang madaming tambak ng damit. Parang dump site na yung bahay niya sa sobrang dumi at dami ng kalat. He went to the kitchen and open his mouldy refrigerator. His sink is full of unwashed dishes and his dining tables are full of rotten bread, fruits and snacks. He live in this trash place, alone and no one will bother him. He live alone and doesn’t care of anyone. He will kill for money, he will kill for revenge and sometimes he will kill just for fun. That’s the life of Insane Vincent after that horrid day. He became ruthless and unmerciful. Nobody knows who he really is. All they know is they don’t want to mess with him.
He went back to the living room and check his computer. He stole this in his former agency as well. He knows a lot of stuff. He can easily break in whenever he wants to.

“Unknown?” he ask himself. He open the message and he was shock to see a photo of a girl. Wearing a blue floral dress and smiling sweetly on the children. He stare at the picture like there’s no tomorrow. Hanggang sa may nag blink na folder sa gild ng picture.
Clinik niya yung folder at Lumabas dun ang isang recorded video message.
“Mr. Insane Vincent. The photo that you saw will be your new assignment. She’s the only daughter of the well-known Mafia organization in the whole world. The daughter of Mr. Spade Kenway, Miss Aveline Rose Kenway. Her father wants to meet you tomorrow at this location….” May Lumabas na papel mula sa fax machine niya.
“He doesn’t like late comers and he also said that you can name your price. That’s all.” Kinuha niya yung pinadalang address.
“What a wonderful mission.” He said with a smirk on his face.
