Chapter 3

[Yes, ducks. Don't ask why.]

Escaping the Hunter's clutches, we came out of the hole. I let go of Mono's hand as we came across a bridge. Mono walked towards the bridge and pulled a string that pulled the part of the bridge that was broken off back up. Six then ran across it, safely got across. She then reached her hand out and Mono jumped across with Six catching him. I stood awkwardly in place.

"Y/N! You need to jump across! I'll catch you!" he yelled from the other side. After a moment of hesitation, I stepped back a little bit. I took a deep breath and ran, jumping when I got to the edge. I reached my hand out and shut my eyes tight. I then felt a grip around my wrist and pulled me up.

I opened my eyes when I felt the ground. I knew Mono was the one who caught me since he WAS next to me. I let out a breath I didn't even know I was holding. "Thanks, Mono," I said. We stood up and were going to continue on our way when I saw a cage hanging from a tree with a hat in it. I climbed up the cages while Six and Mono looked at me like I was crazy. "What are you doing up there?" Six asked me. I jumped to the hanging cage and climbed on top of it. "I'm going to get the hat in here!" I yelled back. Mono and Six just snickered. I started jumping on top of it until it fell. This caused me to go down with it. Somehow, I managed to keep my balance. I then jumped down from the now open cage, walked in, and grabbed the yellow rain hat. I then put it in my pocket. [Don't ask how it fit because I dunno] We kept walking through the swaps and the Hunter came.

~Timeskip to when y'all get in the house~

We ran into a house and Six locked the door. We were all holding the door shut until I saw a huge shotgun hanging on the wall. I ran from the door to grab it and pulled it down with the help of Mono. We fell and the Hunter smashed his face through the door. All of us started to hold the gun up. Then a big BANG! We fell back from the impact of the shot. My ears...they hurt so bad. I couldn't hear anything. I started to try to get up and saw the Hunter was....dead. Mono and Six started to get up. My hearing started to come back, but I felt a warm liquid start to come out of my right ear. I quickly whipped it off and saw it was blood. "Shizz-" I thought. "We should get out of here," Mono said. We climbed out the window and to a beach. Then, I saw a door. "Maybe, we can use the door to get across the water," I said pointing to it. "It's a little risky-" Mono was cut off by Six. "But, it's better than being stuck here. He nodded. We pushed the door into the water and climbed onto it. We pushed off and began to drift in the sea. To god knows where. It was a little packed, but there was room. I yawned and laid down. It'd be best to rest while I can to gain my energy back. Then I drifted into a dreamless slumber.
