Jeremy goes back to The Park to patch things up with Mordecai, regardless of Chad's warnings. But their buddy buddy time is interrupted when an old enemy wants to get back at Jeremy and even hurts Ioni in the process. (Regular Show had songs in their montages, so while writing about the crossover montage, I thought about listening to the song; "Big city nights" by Scorpions and it fit perfectly with it. While it may be during the day, it transitions to night, making it easier for the song to make sense.)

Chapter 1: Late for work

Ever since that incident at the paddle boat dock, Mordecai and Rigby both promised to be on time the next time they would be tasked with that job. So far the duo had a good streak of being on time to go to work at certain jobs at The Park. That was until Rigby decided to over-sleep again.

The duo had stayed up at night playing video games. Mordecai being the reasonable one, went to bed early.

But Rigby chose to stay up as he was trying to pass a level. "Just one more game," he said, yawning. While he succeeded at passing the level it took him all night and now he was fast asleep on his trampoline.

Mordecai groaned because he was fearing that this would happen. "A good streak has been ruined," he sighed. He looked out the window.

The sun had already risen in the sky and it was shining down on the house. The light was so bright that it made Rigby's eyes hurt.

"Aahh! The light!" cried Rigby. "Turn it off!"

"Dude, we're going to be late again!" Mordecai angrily said to Rigby. "Wha?" Rigby asked, dazed. "Aren't you forgetting?" asked Mordecai. "We're supposed to meet Benson at the paddle boats today."

"We haven't been there for a long time," Rigby said, yawning. "Why bother going back?" "Because we're going to be late," answered Mordecai.

Rigby groaned and got out of bed. He followed Mordecai downstairs and went out the door where the golf cart was waiting.

"I can't believe we're going to be late again," sighed Mordecai. "Look on the bright side," Rigby said, shrugging his shoulders. "He might go easy on us today." "Just get in the cart," groaned Mordecai.

The duo got into the cart and drove away from the house.

"You worry too much, man," Rigby said to Mordecai. "You always think negatively about things. Think about something else."

But Mordecai ignored Rigby and focused on driving. He didn't like that his best friend was shrugging off work and not taking it seriously.

"Rigby, this is getting ridiculous," sighed Mordecai. "Why can't you take work seriously?"

Just before Rigby could respond, the duo saw something up in the sky. It was a giant bird creature and it looked like it was carrying passengers.

"Dude, what is that?" Rigby asked Mordecai. "Not sure," said Mordecai. "Stuff like this normally happens. I'm not surprised."
