'Hehe' Eunbyeol giggled as I put her on my lap and tickled her.She was the most adorable kid I had met in my life.With two pigtails and a baby pink dress,she sat on my lap smiling at me and talking cutely in gibberish.Her fluffy cheeks formed two cute dimples when she smiled.
'Euni did you miss me?Did you miss auntie Jieun?' She nodded with a sweet sincere look in her eyes.Oh how I wish I would have a daughter like her in the future.
'Jieun-a'. My mum called me from the other side of the room. 'Come here child'.
I walked towards her as I saw a couple standing beside her.They were looking at me when I stood beside them.
'Hello.I am Lee Jieun.Nice to meet you.'
'Jieun-a.Rememeber them.They were our neighbours when you were 10.You were best friends with their daughter,Hyejin before they moved to the states.'
'Oh I remember Hyejin.How can I forget her.I used to miss her so much after you guys moved.Miss Jeon,where is she now?
'She misses you a lot too Jieun.She was so excited when I told her that we were moving back to Korea.I haven't told her that you would be here.I wanted to surprise her.She will reach here in 15 minutes.You know these days girls take a lot of time getting ready. '
Both the ladies giggled as they start catching up on all the details they missed from over 10 years.
You were so excited to meet her.Going back to your seat,you again sat with your niece on your lap as you talked to her.She was telling me about all the stuff which happened in her school and you were quietly listening and smiling at the funny parts.She was so adorable.
Lost in her talks,you did not notice a guy walking and sitting besides you.He had a familiar scent,one which reminded you of a certain someone.
He started to talk and play with Eunbyeol who surprisingly talked back willingly although she was a shy kid.Well I guess it is true that kids and animals know who the good people are.
I was glad to see Byeol socializing so I just let them be.Still I glanced at them from time to time and I saw how sweet they both looked.It was a moment which I had craved for since a long time.Me and my partner with our child.It was a dream for me which was halfway true at the moment since he was not my husband.
My heart melted when I saw him playing with her adorably while she flashed her gummy smile at him.She reached out for his hands which btw were really big.Oh how much I wanted to just look at those two bond together.

'Mum Dad where did you say we were going?' I asked them,while wearing my tshirt since I sleep naked with just my joggers at night.
'We're going for Miss Lee's birthday lunch,honey.Remember her?She was our next door neighbour when you were young.' My mum replied while pouring the maple syrup on the pancakes she had prepared.It was her signature dish.
'Oh yeah I do.I'm still friends with her son, Dohyun.We met again on Instagram.He would be there,wouldn't he? I mean it's his mum's birthday.'
'Yeah ofc he would be there.His sisters,Y/n and Jiwon would also be there.I heard Jiwon got married and has a daughter now.I can't believe it.She was a kid when I saw her last and now she herself has a kid.'
'Y/n.' My mind got distracted as I heard her name.She was my first love and also my first kiss.Though I was a regular kid in his teens back then,i liked her so much and often just stared at her while she was reading a book or when she was playing with her dog.She looked so pretty even when she was a kid.
We both were 15 and 13 when we shared each others first kiss,me being the former.It was a quick kiss but it was sweet like honey.I was about to board my plane to USA when I finally confessed my feelings after 3 years of keeping them in.She felt the same about me and I remember how happy I was that day.
My mind suddenly jolted when I realized that she would be there.I was nervous-excited to meet her after 10 long years.I pictured how she would be now,still sweet and kind.
I quickly ate my breakfast and went to get ready so that I appear smart and well dressed.
AT THE KIM'S HOUSE
I was walking in behind my parents when I met Dohyun who was standing at the door to greet their guests.
'Heyy broo' I hugged him as we walked to his room after saying goodbye to my parents.
His room was still the same as before.We talked for a while before heading down for the cake cutting.
'Guess that's my call.I'll be right back.' He said before going as someone called him.
I was now alone among so many people so I just walked to the couch nearby and sat next to a woman in her early 20s who had a little girl on her lap.
The little girl was telling her about her adventures in school as she was calmly listening to her.It was so adorable.They looked like they had a really close bond.
I found myself staring at them after some time because they looked so cute.So I decided to click a picture of them together to capture this moment.
I started playing with the little girl and asked her name.'Kim Eunbyeol' she replied.
'Such a cute name.' I smiled at her when she put her small hand on mine and stroked it a little.She was the most adorable kid I had seen.I continued talking to her while she replied in broken words and gummy smiles.
The older woman was continuously looking at us from time to time.When she tucked her hair behind her ears I almost gasped and noticed that it was my first love,my Y/n.She looked just as I had pictured her to be but even more mesmerising.
She looked at me and a confused expression formed on her face.
