Teruteru: Well because since you went under the Izuru Kamakura Project and it could've failed and how you care about Gundham probably you two grew up together and he didn't care if you had an talent..?
Me: Teruteru is kinda correct, the Izuru Kamakura Project did fail but Gundham and Hajime became best friends in Elementary and they both went to Hope's Peak and Gundham accepted him for not having an talent when they were children
Kazuichi: But why was Gundham the mastermind..?
Me: Well during when everyone was remnants, Junko convinced Gundham to follow Hajime everywhere he goes. Hajime still cared about Gundham so he would always be affectionate towards him

Me: Only for the first and fifth murder

Me: Yes and Hajime did kinda actually did care about you somewhat..

Me: Like I said the first and fifth murders are different, in this AU, Teruteru didn't find out about Nagito's plan and Nagito killed Kazuichi. And for the fifth one, Hajime framed himself for the fifth for your murder, but in reality your death was also faked
Fuyuhiko: When you explained Gundham's, it still made no fucking sense
Me: Hajime was the original mastermind but Gundham was somehow remembered High School and he knew that Hajime was the mastermind, and he missed how Hajime was affectionate with him, so he became the mastermind with him so he could get the same affections again

Me: Well he found out and he tried to kill Nagito but it failed and killed Sagishi by mistake, and for the fifth one Chiaki killed Nagito by mistake
MM Hajime: At least Nagito was killed
Hajime: I- I don't think you should say that, I know that he killed Kazuichi in your AU, and he nearly killed someone here but we forgave him because he's our friend.
