It all started this morning. My dad dropped me off at this old, worn out looking building. When he dropped me off, he said nothing but a quite, "Goodbye." I walk inside. All around me I see and hear fighting, people cursing and throwing things from their hands. I think they're blocks, but then I realize, the people are throwing... fire. Suddenly, I see one of the people scream, then get killed by one of the people. I look around, and see a tall, sinister man wearing a white tuxedo, talking to a group of teenagers.
I turn, getting ready to leave, but then a voice calls me back. "You there! Come here! You're late!" My face reddens, and I turned. The man in the white tux in gesturing to me to come over. I quickly run over to him, not knowing what else to do. He tells us all why we're here. "You're all here because you all can do something that most people can't. You all have your own ability. You inherited your abilities from your parents." The girl next to me raised her hand. "What?" the man said bored. The girl shuffled her feet. "Um, I want to be apart of the X-men, not some mad house." she said courageously. "Dumb girl." he replied. "The X-Men and Avengers don't need weaklings." The girl who asked the question's jaw dropped, feeling offended.
"Where was I, oh yes. This is the Avenger's arena. In thirty days, only one of you will have survived. You all will fight to the death, whether you want to or not. The winner will have accessibility to join the Avengers. Or, the X-Men. But let me tell you, Logan seriously needs to get better security for the place." he said, amused. "Now let the games..." he said blood thirsty. "BEGIN!" All of the sudden, the building started to move. Underground! I held my breath as the building shifted, and went under.
The man cleared his throat. The other people around us disapeared into thin air. "Holograms." the guy said calmly. When we all turned to look at hm, he disapeared. "Go!" speakers said.
I don't know what I've gotten myself into, but I know it's not good.
